This hotel is located in center of Bangkok. General service was nice and satisfied. But breakfast is not included. Instead, the hotel provides 50% discount voucher for breakfast buffet.

getting to the tawana from suvarnabhumi airport was not an issue at all. everybody knows where the tawana is located. prices via agoda was competitive and the rooms provided was quiet and spacious. the rooms were turned over nicely and promptly daily. there was always a friendly wave from the bell desk and the main door always 'automatically' opened by one of the bell members. the complimentary tuk tuk service is an excellent perk enjoyed by all!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Having gone on Klong canal cruise incidentally in a 'slow' boat and that was better than the 'fast' noisy boat, it was time to visit the Grand Palace. Following that, getting away from the grand palace is difficult as taxi and tuk tuk drivers demand upwards of to go even nearby places. This was when a kindly tuk tuk driver offered to drive us for a 100baht trip to yaowarat. Beware! First he brought us to 2 'shopping' side trips then drop us off at Khao San and proudly declared...Please get off, we're now in chinatown?!! And give me BIG tip ok?

we chose this hotel because it used to be crew hotel for sia. that means it has certain standards and the location from the airport is convenient. by taxi,.
the staff are extremely smiling and helpful.
there is a complimentary tuktuk for hotel guests.
guests are also entitled to 50% discount buffet breakfast. very good spread.
the rooms are large,clean and comfortable. wifi is available in rooms too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We booked our Ayuthaya day trip which cost. and that was value for money.Nearby are wonderfully cheap massage shops that cost for 2 hrs.
There is a nearby hawker food court, and Patphong Night market.
There is food everywhere u look, cant go hungry in Bangkok.
Bargain when u use the tuktuks, they fleece tourists. Metered taxis are good. These types of transport also double up as tour guides and u can strike deals with them if u dont want to join the sit in tours.

I travel to Bangkok often and after a couple of tries, Tawana is my st choice. I don't have to worry about the hotel serving the same menu over and over again. There is so much hawker dishing interesting and delicious stuff. Try the grilled bananas and fried doughtnuts with coconut custard for breakfast; then try the pork rice for lunch. For dinner, green curry or duck noodle, and finish off with mango sticky rice!!

though the hotel looks tired and in need of upgrading, the service and cleanliness is spot on. it is situated in the "heart of the nightlife" and is very close to all modes of transportation networks.
for the price this hotel has value and lots to offer.
Nightlife Tip:
beware of nightclubs in patpong. they still resort to ripping off people who are charged much more that the usual 100 baht only cover charge pitch.
i recommend club 66, very clean and modern, just paid 200baht which included a drink and the show.
you must avoid super pussy!!!! they threatened me.....
