This hotel is a gem close to the main night life scene. Very friendly and concerned staff. All around a great hotel.

clean hotel with a lack of friendly thai service

i stayed here with 4 other friends for a couple of days before our international departure back home. this hotel had a good location for scouring bangkoks nightlife/redlight. you need to just walk outside the hotel, turn right and walk down until you hit all the sois with the bars/clubs/gogos.
the food available from the restaurant was slightly more expensive than surrounding external restaurants however it was of a much higher standard and we found that we would prefer to pay a little extra and eat the better food within air conditioning.
the major negative for us was the lack of welcome on reception. nobody opted to pick up our bags when we got out of our minibus, we hauled them up to reception and had to manage our selves. it was a very cold experience when compared to our arrivals in phuket and samui earlier that month.
in summary this hotel was good for those who just need a clean bed/room in a half decent location to take girls back to. don't expect anything extravagant in the means of hotel services or even the renowned thai customer service.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable. The location is good however it is a 10 min walk to get to the main road and pass through all the night life areas on the way. Its a 15 min walk to nana bts station which is a bit far.
Nightlife Tip:
If your interest is mainly to be close to the bars of nana.

I am very pleased with the Dawin. The pictures of the hotel are as it is in person. The desk crew Kwan and Or were two of the best receptenist I've met. Very helpful and polite, very professional as the waiter/waiteress in the resturant are.
Nightlife Tip:
When going out for the evening don't charge in to pick up the first woman that you see.

Nice hotel. I have stayed here several times and would definitely go back. Short walk to Sukhumvit market and Nana BTS. Tons of restaurants all within walking distance. Rooms are nice and clean, bed is very comfortable. Staff is always nice. Hotel restaurant is open 24 hours and had great menu.

thouroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the staff were very friendly and hellpfull, the hotel is well presented and clean as were the rooms, the room was cleaned every day. the hotel is situated close to the nightlife on soi 4 but just far enough away so you dont get disturbed if you want an early night, food also great would stay again.
