The Dawin Hotel
Nice pool area, but litle wind.very hot

Hotel is placed in the middle between two streets , so its relative quiet and calm area.Good service and nice rooms.
There were 2 pools in the hotell, and both very nice, but they were both inn between the buildings, so very litle breeze.Was a bit hot at mid day time.I liked the hotel.Good service good food and nice people.

A haven in a crazy place

The hotel itself is great with nice sized large rooms, well finished, bright and very modern. 24hr reception with helpful staff. Bed was good quality as was the bed linen. Bathroom was big and finished to a high standard with a superb shower. The rooftop pool was also nice, not very big but there was never that many people up there for it to be a problem. Great location if you want Nana Plaza.

Dawin Hotel review

This was the second time I stayed at the Dawin. Apart from the cons above, there are certain other irritating things that need to be addressed. During my recent stay I dined three times at the restaurant. The staff do not write the orders down, even when requested to do so. As a result two out of the three orders were wrong, with only half the meal arriving. On one occasion, I was the only customer so there was no excuse. On reporting it to the staff they smiled and said sorry. Trivial, but very irritating.
Secondly, I had to ask for the room to be cleaned on returning in the afternoon despite the sign being illuminated - then had to ask for toilet paper which is not acceptable.
These things aside, it is a good hotel and I will stay again - but with lowered expectations.

A little smoky

You won't be at a loss for excitement staying here as it's sort of "in the middle" of things. The room was very nice and the staff friendly. Generally speaking I enjoyed my stay. The only complaint I really have is that the hallway leading to my room (and my room itself) seemed completely infused with the smell of smoke. Perhaps there are other non-smoking floors where this is not a problem.

Great Hotel At A Great Price

This is an excellent little hotel in a great location with friendly staff. The in-room meals are great value and have a good range of authentic Thai food to choose from.
Coffee house is next door along with a 7/11.

Stay in Bangkok
easy access via Sky train, clean, close to happening areas (lots of activities), simple breakfast area

This is a nice and clean hotel located at the heart of Bangkok. I was on a business trip and the location of the hotel was close to public transport (skytrain) and was walking distance to night entertainment too. The hotel was clean and has a "new" hotel feel to it. I would stay there again. Recommended.

When in Bankgkok I always stay in this hotel. It is located at the end of Soi 4 on Sukhumvit Road in a quiet area. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and nice. I usualy stay in a superior room which is slightly bigger than the standard one. Standard room looks exactly the same though. Tv reception is good, lots of channels including a good movie channel (but who watches tv on hols)
Cab to soi 11 clubs costs about 50 baths. They have free wi fi, but you pay for using internet in the lobby.

This is a great hotel in a great location with friendly staff.
The hotel in near Nana Plaza and is situated on Soi 4. The only bad point is in the afternoon the street becomes very congested with traffic due to Nana Plaza on the corner of Soi 4 and Sukhumvit Rd

Good value for the money
Location. Good service. Nice clean rooms.

The hotel is new and clean with decent size rooms. Very friendly staff. Food at restaurant is pretty good. The hotel is located on Sukhumvit soi 4 and is close to all the activities of Sukhumvit. However, it is quite a ways down soi 4. It's about a 10 to 15 min walk to either one of the BTS stations

would not take this hotel again. cleanliness and room comfort is good but location is not very convenient. its about 5-10mins walking distance to Nana station.

Hotel is nearest to Nana station, about 5-10mins of walking time. will bypass pubs almost everyday and night which i think will not be suitable for Family to go. Good thing is that 7-11 is almost just beside the hotel. Room is Clean and Comfortable.
