there was a tuk tuk to give you lifts to the main street
The Hotel is to far from the main street
The Hotel room looked nothing like the photo on the web site plus the room was very tired looking and based on my stay at the St James which was about the same price I was very disappointed with the Hotel, the staff tried to be helpful, i will not be staying at this hotel again as the hotel is also a long way from the BTS skytrain and although they have a tuk tuk its not always available.

Good location [Soi 31]
Good price
Recently upgraded
I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times in the past, on those occassions I found the place run down and in need of refurbishment. On this visit it was much better and for the price I could not complain.
Would stay there again from now on provided the prices remain competative.

rooms were clean, staff very helpful
old hotel - but you get what you pay for.
I found the staff at this hotel very helpful. on checking in the staff obviously noticed that I was 6months pregnant. when we walked into our room the smell of stale cigarette smoke was unbearable - I dont like to complain so was happy to open windows to let in fresh air as we were only staying there one night. Straight away the phone in the room rang, it was reception asking if we wanted to be moved to another non-smoking room as I was pregnant. very impressed!

Good location close to Sukumvit road and the sky train system
Good size rooms.
Rooms somewhat basic( but you are not paying luxuary prices)
The hotel is quite well positioned close to the action on Sukumvit road and the easy access to the skytrain allows easy transportation to other parts of Bangkok, without having get caught in the road traffic. The hotel is a little walk up Soi 25 from Sukumvit road, but a free shuttle is supplied by the hotel to take guests from the hotel to the road.
Rooms are a good size, if somewhat basic. Basic breakfst is included.
What i liked was the attitude of the staff. Always helpfull, always cheerfull and tried hard to make our stay enjoyable.
Would I use the same hotel agaain - Yes I would as I think it offers good value for money.
Restaurant Tip : Many restaurants close by with a range of cuisines. Go out at night and explore the food night life

1-cheap
2-secure
3-clean
4-good environment
5-nice staff
6-free breakfast
7-transport available
8-free wi-fi in rooms
the euro grande hotel is at around 45 minutes away from suvurnabhumi airport.i did ask the hotel for airport pick up for 700 bhat so i didn't have any problem at the airport.the hotel is in sukhumvit in front of prime minister's residence so security is not a problem.they did give me a safety box for valuables ,but its not in the room .the room is fine with all basic needs available.the only downside is the number of tv channels ,they need to work on that.the rooms were cheap thanks to AGODA.u can ask for transport at the hotel for reasonable price.sky train is at 10 minutes walk.the staff is nice.i would definitely recommend it to anyone who is going to bangkok.

cost, breakfast, cheap ,convenient,people
rundown, dark, strange showee
I had stayed here before as it is close to the hospital where my daughter was. The people are very friendly and remembered me from my first stay a few weeks before. The breakfast is really good and they also knew what I liked and he would serve my tea first thing as that is what I wanted. Te rooms are dark and in need of updating and repair. In the first room, although ans upgrade, had not been cleaned and there were bugs in the bed as well as hair. They promptly gave me another room at 11:00 at night. I think if they would invest in upgrading it would be a great place, but for the money it still was good.

Reasonable price, clean, friendly staff, safe area.
Thin walls make you hear your neigbours, older hotel.
I stayed on a higher floor, very calm. Except you have a nosy neighbour. Thin walls make you hear everything. Walking to BTS/MRT possible, but it takes 10+ minutes. Not everyone's piece of cake. But cabs come every minute and the hotel offers a shuttle service to Sukhumvit. The low ceiling in the parking is only for sedans, not SUVs. Max height about 160cm. Due to the prime minister's house nearby a lot of police on the road, very safe area. you can get massage on the 3rd floor. No idea about the breakfast :)
Restaurant Tip : If you like Pizza try the Bella Napoli, 500m away. Excellent pizza.

location; a value for money; good-sized room; friendly staff
Old; lack of maintenance; limited TV channels;
My recent stay at the Grand Euro Hotel was quite enjoyable. Previously I had been staying at another hotel in the area, and looking to extend my stay searched the Agoda site. At the time the pricing and availability was excellent, so, I booked. The hotel more than met my requirements. Even though the property itself is quite old, and the external appearance rather shabby, the room itself was very good. I had a standard room, which was quite large, and had its own balcony overlooking the street. The room was clean, the bed in good condition with clean linen changed every day. There was a desk, as well as two lounge chairs. The bathroom is a good size with a bath tub. The only negative here was that the shower and hot water is provided by an instant electric heater, which has a low capacity. The air conditioning worked well.
The room also comes with free broadband wireless Internet. This was excellent except that occasionally I had to log off a log on in order to get the connection. room also came with breakfast included, and while this is basic, it is still quite good, and they will cook an omelette for you. Newspapers are supplied. Room service was quite good although the hotel meals themselves limited. The reason excellent restaurant on the property called "brown eyes".
The hotel staff are friendly. Quite a few speak English. I was not bothered by hawkers, or late-night calls, etc. I felt safe and secure. Indeed, the Prime Minister lives across the street and the police presence on the corner is a reassuring feeling. Overall, I highly commend this property.
Travel tip : The hotel is close to many pubs and restaurants. It is also close to the Emporium Department Store. The hotel will provide transport to Sukumvhit, which is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Access to taxis etc is excellent.

People were very helpful and the breakfast was very good. Rooms spacious and clean.
Weird bathroom as no shower curtain. No tea maker and water was extra. My room had a window that faced a solid concrete wall so could not see out.

Clean and friendly staff, lovely breakfast. And had HBO which is good for films. The taxi service is cheap and friendly, and took me to the airport at a good price.
The hotel is full of nice people but it smells a little damp and old. Other than that you get what you pay for.
I enjoyed my stay its a walk into the city, the people are willing to help, and the rooms are large and air conditioned.
