The lobby is nice but that's where it stops on the positive side. As I understand by friends that stayed there a few years ago, the hotel at that time was nice but I see it has changed for the worse. The rooms are simple and in my opinion the room has seen better days. The point that really disappointed me was its poor lighting in the room. To see what was in our luggage while in the room, we had to turn on the bathroom light. The bathroom has a glass wall separating it from the room, so the light from the bathroom can help see things better. But why do we need to turn on the bathroom light to see things? We call the frontdesk to ask if there was a room with better lighting. They said all the rooms were exactly the same in terms of lighting. We decided this hotel was not for us.

I actually stayed at the Heritage twice before and after heading to Cambodia. I have stayed here before and it is becoming my base in Bangkok. Why? First, the staff is extremely friendly and always go out of the way to assist me. The rooms I have used (including regular rooms, corner rooms and a suite) have all been very functional and spacious, particularly by standards where I live (Japan). Finally, the location is excellent - near everything, but off the main street so relatively quiet. There is a BTS station about one minute from the main entrance, which means getting around Bangkok is very easy. Also, they have parking which is great when my local friends come to visit. Only drawback is some of the other guests - young, noisy and tend to congregate in the lobby. Otherwise, no complaints and excellent value for your travel dollar. Don (Canada)

heritage silom hotel is recommended by my friend. the location is super good because only 1 min walk to the train station. and from the hotel station to the shopping area only 3 - 5 stations away.
the breakfast although not much choices however tasty and presentable.
what the lack of is the receptionist not friendly and helpful enough.
Shopping Tip:
Frm the hotel station can stop at Siam station to go to Siam Paragon Mall ( one of the high end mall at Bangkok ) or stop at Chit Lom to go to Platinum Fashion Mall. You can spend the whole day at Platinum Fashion Mall:)

The hotel was not valued for money. It is expensive and the room was not clean (we found cockroachs in the toilettes)... Staff performance was quite average.

we 6 people stay this hotle only one night but all of us feel it is very comfortable and very good location. the hotel clean and tidy and i will come back again on next trip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
you can walk on next bts station at night and you can find the night market. there are also have some message shop and very good servie with reasonable price.

Loved this place, I got upgraded to deluxe room which was very large and clean. The hotel is about 20 meters from the BTS. Staff were very helpful and friendly. WIFI was the best I have had in any of my many travels around the world. and best of all, was free :-). I recommend this hotel and will stay there again.
