Cheap and easy hotel near the airport. A little difficult to find the shuttle guy but asked around and most other hotel staff at the airport will help you to find the right hotel shuttle. Nothing fancy but does the job!

stayed here for 1 night for transit , as the hotel provide the free shuttle pick up but we had stayed in airport for 50mins waiting for the shuttle . And the worst thing is the staff at the airport just told us " it will be arrived in 15mins " what he said actually were not correct, this false info made us wasted 50mins do nothing at the airport ... And then we just complain to the receptionist when we did check in. she just ignored what we said and even didnt say sorry.....the services are tiotally under the basic standard.
Restaurant Tip:
theres some local food stores just along the main street, its good especially when you arrived at late night

don't let the drive through the neighborhood worry you, this is a nice little hotel that's clean and has an adorable little cafe for your morning latte! it is close to the airport so if you just need a place for the night, this is a great pick. we will definitely return

The location:
It is really near the airport. No worry about missing the flight or caught in the jam since the hotel provide transport service to & fro the airport. It took about 15 mins from the hotel to airport.
The Room:
Its very lovely! Just like the pictures you see on Agoda. Pleasant clean bathroom. Air-con is working very well. Do not expect 5-star like bed, but the bed is comfortable enough for a decent rest. It has a very small balcony too that allows you to look out to the small street or step out to step a breather or smoke. It has mirror for doing your makeup and another small mirror near the bathroom for you to dry your hair. If you have ever stayed in any Singapore Hotel 81, the Phoenix Hotel is probably 5 times better in terms of bed quality, bathroom cleanliness & room atmosphere. It has a mini fridge, drinking water, tibits, instant coffee & tea. There is free WiFi too! What I don't like most was that there were a few mosquitoes in that room that I stayed. I managed to slapped on 2 mosquitoes and the rest hide after I turned the air-con on full blast.
The cafe - Catch Up Cafe
Like this cafe a lot. Can't help it & start behaving like a tourist taking pictures. Really a relaxing place, away from the hustle & bustle. Soft music plus nice ambiance. It is a very small cafe but I think it gives great pleasure to me & my friends. The food menu is quite decent. The crepe cake is a must eat. The Thai milk tea is nice.
The staff
All staff are friendly & helpful. Yes all staff including the driver, the receptionist, the bellboys, the server in the cafe and the staff in the cafe.
All & All, I thank all staff in The Phoenix Hotel. My stay there maybe only be less than a day, but I felt very relaxed while I was resting in the hotel, just 1 day before I went back to the busy busy world.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Bring your own shower cap, toothbrush & toothpaste as the hotel does not provide.
The hotel provide very simple basic toiletries so you may want to bring your own.
Very ideal place to stay if you are in transit for flight or just want a very quiet, simple place to rest your mind before going back to where you may come from.

A good location - close to the BKK airport

we spent 1 night in this hotel to get our next flight to cambodia on the next day. it was really easy to find hotel representatives to get a transfer to hotel. next morning we took transfer van from the hotel which goes each hour.
room was of reasonable size, the equipment was not new and probably needs to be changed but for one night the stay was good.
the hotel staff is good.
