Residence Rajtaevee is a beautifully decorated resort styled hotel popular with budget conscious tourists and business travelers. Ratchatewi BTS sky train station is just a few minutes walk and all the major shopping malls are easily reached by the sky train. You are only one station away from the malls and boutiques of Siam Square, another stop takes you to the Pratunam Wholesale market. The on site Crescendo Restaurant specializes in Thai and Italian cuisines at very affordable prices and the on site 'Spa Buri' is very popular with both guests and local residents for its quality treatments and ambient setting.

Good spa. Foot massage prices comparable to shops outside of hotel.
Hotel room furnishing too old.
Our room was next to the storeroom, so we could literally hear what people are talking about through the lattice in our bathroom, which reduces our level of privacy. The hotel lock was kind of high-tech though, quite out of place for a room with such old furnishing.
The spa was very good. Aromatherapy oil massage was THB 700 for 1 hour. Foot massage was THB 350 for 1 hour. These prices are comparable to shops outside the hotel and in fact cheaper than a number of much lower quality spas.
Shopping Tip : Near lots of shopping malls e.g. MBK, Siam Paragon etc

The rooms are new and it's really clean.
Around hotel is ugly and dirty and when we stay (october)external noise was unbearable.
We choose this hotel for the location. We thought that It was very close to Comercial Centers (MBK, Siam Parangon, Central World...) and it wasn't right.
We know that Bangkok is huge but we like to walk through the city to know them better. But in this case, the hotel was too far to walk to our point of interest (malls), mainly comming back (with shoping bags). To go / back you have to take a taxi as in any other area for that reason recommend going to any other area because this is ugly.
