I booked the family suite from this hotel and it is big although the room is quite old. The location of the hotel is good, being at the center of the shopping area. We only walk for about 2 minutes to the free shuttle service of Siam Paragon mall. Hotel has good buffet food. I appreciate their housekeeping even if I don't ask them to clean our room, when we go back to the hotel, the towels are replenished and the room is clean.

Great stay at Residence. Convenient location, only 5-8 mins walk to Platinum Shopping Centre. Free shuttle service to Siam Paragon which can take BTS at Siam station. Friendly & helpful staff. 7-11 just a few steps away. Newly renovated rooms which are clean & comfortable.

Not good enough for my $30

this hotel is fairly cheap, and may be just about right for the backpacker on a budget. but i'm a spoiled american and rather pay an extra $10 a night and get something much nicer. the lobby area is quasi-redone, but once you get into the rooms area, the age and quality of the hotel shows its wrinkles. i stayed one night and booked it out of there. it is a relatively good location and i was able to bring a guest in w/o issue.

good big suite room , but tv was old and not functioning properly, less variety in breakfast, helpful receptionist, good location , surrounded by all big malls, just behind 10 mins is the biggest branded mall siam paragon and other siam famoous malls and they have the underwater world biggest in asia also famous mall mbk 14 mins walkable, near to airport 45 mins drive, if bargain taxi will charge thb.

"Clean hotel and convenient location for shopping"

The hotel is close to Platinum mall and Central World. A great location for shopping and a walking distance to BTS. However, if you are specific about the smell of smokes, it is recommended that you emphasis this point to the hotel prior to checking-in. The room we stayed had a really bad smell of smokes that retained in the room, so it is not really good for family ideal type.

the location is very strategic, can save on taxi. walking distance to all the major shopping malls like siam paragon, it mall, platinum mall, baiyoke plaza, mbk and etc. you can check out the restaurant in the hotel, serves good food. there is one 7-11 shop in front of the hotel, can get your daily needs there. no nightlife in that area though.
Shopping Tip:
must bargain but platinum mall offers the best price all under one roof.

rooms are ok, but don't expect the lavish kind when the price of this hotel was so affordable. need to request an adaptor from the front desk as the adaptor we bring is not compatible with their microwave. the hotel itself can help arrange taxi upon check out and it's cheaper than what the airport staff are selling. one bad point is, they will charge you when you need them to help make a local phone call even if it's within their country. lastly, there's a great grilled chicken wings stall just outside the hotel, it's a must try!! overall, the stay was great for a shopping and party trip!!
Shopping Tip:
The location of the hotel was good, it was walking distance to platinum mall and pratunum. Took less than 15 mins which is inclusive of slowly passing thru all the street stalls before reaching pratunum.
