Customers can utilize the airport transfer for free. we decided to stay here to make access to our flights easier. but whenever we wanted to go into bangkok city we hopped on the hotel airport transfer for free to get to the airport, and then we used the airport rail link from the airport to Phaya Thai/Makkasan (city stations). on return to the airport via the rail link (whenever we wanted before midnight), we then found the hotel transfer people in their section for arriving guests, and caught the next transfer back to the hotel. easy and efficient.

Perfect location for international travellers

I did not see much of the hotel or use many facilities as I was only there overnight but it is very convenient if you arrive late and have to get another flight the next day as it is only about 5-10 minutes from the airport and there is a free transfer.

Think this is my third or fourth stay at the Tong Ta this year, so says it all really. For the price paid hard to beat in my honest opinion.
Paid 750 baht includes round trip transfer from airport and breakfast. First time I have stayed long enough in the morning for the breakfast which was of reasonable standard, although I'm not too fussy an eater.
They are constructing a new wing with a pool which should be open in the next few months.
Travel tip:
Try the small food court at the entrance to the soi for cheap and tasty Thai food and drink.
Now plenty of eateries in the soi including a 7-11 on the corner.

Convienently close to the airport

We had an early morning flight out of Bangkok and our arrival was mid afternoon so we didn't have much time to stay in Bangkok. With a free shuttle and only 5 to 10 minutes from the airport Thong Ta was a good choice. There's plenty of places to eat nearby and a huge market with all sorts of things for sale from food to clothing to hardware, great fun. The hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable enough.We were up and at the airport in no time in the morning and being so close to the airport didn't have to get up too early before our flight. Everything worked fine and for the price of the hotel it was quite good.
Shopping Tip:
Huge market a 5 minute walk away, there's everything there.

If you don't plan to stay long this will do. Few restaurants around but you won't starve, nothing to see but the airport but if that is what matters to you it is fine. We had lots of burnt out light bulbs and the bed was very firm. Not a spa hotel in spite of the name. New addition was under construction buts I doubt it will make a big difference as the location will still be a challenge.
We didn't use the transfer they offer so can't comment on that.
Travel tip:
Location looks closer to the airport than it actually turned out to be. A lot of one way streets and limited access roadways make it difficult to get to. Local knowledge is a must.

it is not a major chain, hotel is small and it does not provide a lot, but it is a dissent stay for a night before early flight. a lot of food places, and not too many tourists.

this is not a luxurious hotel, but you get exactly what you need at a great price. it was much nicer than other, much more expensive hotels we stayed at during our thailand holiday.
the room was very clean and had everything we needed for out 1 night there.
great staff and excellent airport transfer service.
the are was okay - at least you can get a meal, haircut, massage (and probably a few other things) right outside the hotel. quiet area.
