Good stay again at the Tong Ta, have stayed here numerous times now.
About a 10-15 minute wait at airport until all the guests were rounded up ready to depart to hotel. Efficient quick check-in at hotel.
The rooms are starting to show some wear and tear but for the price paid still good value. Plenty of channels to watch on the tv. Food in the attached restaurant was reasonable, seems to be more small bars/coffee shops etc etc opening up around the hotel now, so plenty of other options available for dining.
There is a new wing of the Tong Ta under construction just at the rear of the massage shop, there looks to be a swimming pool included in the plans as well. They reckon about 3-4 months until it is finished.
Will stay again, as really good value for the money paid.

Excellent airport hotel

This hotel is a very good choice as an airport hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean, and most importantly, wake-up calls and airport transports are very reliable. For hotel transport, go to arrival hall on level 2, gate #4 to find rep. Just ask any of the reps that station there and they will point out your hotel rep. The hotel has four floors but no lift. But hotel bellboys will help you carry your luggages.

My favorite airport hotel.

This is my favorite hotel when flying in and out of Bangkok. My travels require over night lodging before and after flights. My wife and I have used the hotel for 2-4 day stays while visiting Bangkok. Rather than drive into the city we would shuttle to the airport and take the Sky train to and from down town. The hotel has a new policy in place allowing only one round trip to and from the airport on the shuttle. Might be a deal killer for us. Penny wise and dollar foolish.

2nd stay not as nice as first time

This was the secont time that I stayed at this hotel. The first time we had a great room, everything was nice. Just the internet did not work. Now the second time that we were in this hotel it was not nice at all. We had a room in the side building. The room was OK but the smell was horrible! The whole room smelled from the toilet. I felt like I could not breathe. I was really disappointed because the rooms in the main building were really nice. But at least the free shuttle worked out perfectly for us and the breakfast is nice too.

i got picked up as arranged, they took me to the hotel and made me feel at home.
hotel is directly besides a highway, so nothing for a longer stay, but perfect for one or two nights in bangkok while traveling through. very good value for the money, very clean and pleasant.

Okay hotel if you need to be near airport

We had a short overnight stay at this hotel to catch an early morning flight. The room was spacious & clean as advertised, and there are several restaurants/coffee shops nearby. Airport transfers were included in the rate we paid on Agoda, but the service ended up being somewhat difficult. The transfer does not necessarily leave the hotel every 30 minutes as they tell you. To be safe, I would suggest allowing a little extra time to get to the airport. All said, an average stay for the price paid.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Plan extra time if taking hotel transfer to the airport.
