OK but linen tired
Good size bed nice shower and fast internet

room was fine but the linen and towels were very tired and grey looking. was fine for an overnight stay between flights. room was quiet thru the night and breakfast was acceptable if nothing fantastic. nice to have a water heater and coffee in the room. looks like they are opening a new hotel soon and that may be the reason for not splashing out on new towels and bed linen. overall a very good value for money stay. free transfer to and from airport was included in my agoda price.again a nice thing to have.

it was a very pleasant day to stay in that hotel ,simply because it is very closed to the suvarnabhumi international airport, free airport service and such a smilling face in the receptions, i liked the whole stuff and enjoyed my staying, i will come back again and again. thank you .

For airport pick up, go to gate 4 on second floor of the airport, which is the same floor of the international arrival hall. Then look for the Thong Ta Resort signs either held by a driver or hung on the railing near gate 4.
No elevator in hotel, but porter will help you bring your luggage up to your room.
Spacious room, but bathroom rather small and stuffy.
Simple breakfast in the cafe next door.

Good airport transfer but mosquitos kept us awake

this was the second time that we stayed at the thong ta resort. it is close to the airport. airport transfers are included and efficient, so we had been pleased with our first visit.
the windows were not bug-proof, and we were kept awake and bitten by mosquitos -- on december 31. i shudder to imagine what it would have been like in the rainy season.
also very annoying is the fact that "24 hour room service" does not mean 24 hour room service. there was no food to be had when we got up for our 6am flight. we were quite hungry, because there had been a mixup the night before, when we had attempted to order food at the front desk, but it never came. i find it inexcusable to advertise a service that the hotel has no plans for fulfilling.

we stayed at thong ta resort while in transit from cambodia to myanmar. we were only in bangkok overnight and this hotel was perfect! the airport transfer to and from the hotel made it very convenient. we ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and it was very good. the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Many restaurants and bars on lak prabang around corner and across street-airport pick up was there gate 4 but had to ask someone and found hotel person there.
