Staff are reasonably helpful; breakfast is reasonably good; linen andtowels are very good and clean; cleaning services are accptable. there are mosquitos around because of the many small plants and fish ponds; really you cannot have the cake and eat it as well. Room fixtures could be better or upgraded. I stayed on and off at Trang Hotel before, and that was the main reason for the upgraded room (to Junior Suite) allocated to me. Thank you Khun Nooch, Assistant Manager. The management has done a reasonably good job to improve the hotel and its facilities. The good-quality linen, towels and the firm mattresses are really good, espcially for cleaning and sleeping. However, the central air-con system is too cold at night, and the control panelis not effective in the suite during my stay. All in all, reasonably good value for money, and for commute to nearby places of attractions.

NOTHING ABOUT THIS HOTEL RATE MUCH OF A MENTION TOURIST BEWARE YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE YOUR WITS ABOUT YOU TO STAY HERE. UPON ARRIVAL I WAS GIVEN A FOURTH RATE ROOM THE WINDOWS WERE HELD TOGETHER WITH SILVER TAPE THE BATH WAS RUSTY NOT VERY IMPRESSED AS I HAD JUST ARRIVED FROM A LONG FLIGHT THIS HOTEL JUST IS NOT FOR THE SOLO TRAVELLER THE VALUE FOR MONEY WAS NOT THERE I WAS MOST DISAPPOINTED IN MY FIRST ROOM HOWEVER UPON APPROACHING RECEPTION I WAS OFFERED A ROOM IN THE MAIN BUILDING THIS WAS BETTER I PAID FOR A SUPERIOR ROOM NOT SURE WHAT THIS MEANS AT THIS PARTICULAR HOTEL. UNFORTUNATELY DINNING WAS AT THE HOTEL AS NOTHING WAS CLOSE BY THIS HOTEL SEEMS TO BE HIDDEN AWAY DOWN A BACK LANE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ACTION ONE WOULD NEED TO GET TAXIS ALL THE TIME THEREFORE THIS IS NOT IN A VERY GOOD LOCATION I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN . I AM SURE THERE ARE MUCH NICER HOTELS FOR THE SAME PRICE IN BANGKOK OVERALL VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE HOTEL

When you take a shower you wet the whole bathroom. If you want electricity you have to crawl on the floor and remove the TV contact. We will definitely not stay here any longer. Take a walk to Khao San area instead, we did after one night.

It's a bit far from the places of interest, but you can give the travel desk a chance. They were quite friendly and helpful even though I didn't take up any tours or get a cab from them. (I've been to Bangkok enough times to go around my own.)

We found the hotel very acceptable, and the pool would be a big drawcard in hot weather.
Restaurant Tip : The Thai restaurant across the road and near the lights (at the intersection away from the river) has very nice seafood and genuine Thai food at very reasonable prices (and an English menu).

Cleanliness and there were so many mosquitoes. Cheap price hotel. If you plan to use taxi mainly and not walk, location is O.K. But you should take mosquito buster because their pool produce many mosquitoes.

The location is convenient, because it close to the river and Kaosan is not directly in the crowd to be. I know the Tranghotel from a previous stay in 2007 and wanted it in use again this year - a complete washout. Everything the hotel makes the beautiful courtyard, the Poo, the newer wing, is completely blocked due to construction works. The usable part is old and has come down so completely overpriced. There is no possibility to sit outside, except right next to the noisy street. From a residence, I can therefore only currently strongly advise against! Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The walk to Kaosan lead by a very beautiful temple complex with small channels - a city.

Central, Cheap, Simple, Beautiful Garden, Breakfast Buffet Furniture very old and worn, carpets in the entire hotel smelled pretty strict, z.Teil old air conditioners with 3 stages The hotel offers hotel adjoining tract in a pool in which I never saw someone swim. Otherwise OK for 1-2 nights is also the shopping center of Bangkok can take a taxi (about 60-70 THB) depending on the traffic in 10-15 min. reached werden.Über Agoda we have for this hotel found the cheapest price!
