location is great

for the swimming pool you have to go to the neighbouring Narai hotel

The hotel is nicely decorated but the furniture in our room started to look somewhat used and outdated. At arrival it appeared that the breakfast room and outside bar were under refurbishment which we unfortunately were not aware of when making the booking. Breakfast was now served in the Narai hotel and was OK, but not exactly what we were looking for (otherwise we could have booked the Narai hotel). Somewhat disappointed that no automatic gesture was done by the Triple Two Silom to meet these inconveniences.

Travel tip : good starting point to visit the city

Excellent nice staff. Clean rooms with a nice design. I liked the little bar outside. It was nice to have a little cocktail after a long day of visiting the city. Nice breakfast.

We asked about what sort of things we could visit. The hotel staff kept telling us about the most touristic places. We wanted to visit more Thai places for Thai people. Don't do the dinner cruise. Bad food and there is nothing to see on the river at night.

We had a very nice stay the Triple Two Silom. The staff was very sweet and welcoming. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated with an asian flair. The rooms are very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were large. We liked the seperated shower and bathtub. The breakfast was good. They had a medium selection of cereals, hot food like eggs, pancakes, ect, and thai food. The only critic I have is the staff was not very helpful when we wanted to finds places more authentic Thai. We ended up wandering around on our own to find areas not packed with tourists. Any very important, if you go to Patong to the bars and reastaurants, do not feed any elephants. These animals are endangered and you will only be supporting their owners exploitation of these beautiful creatures.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do not buy the sightseeing trips from the hotel. They are cheaper if you book them at the airport before you arrive.
