Bedroom is clean and big. Wi-Fi is not strong and still enough. Front desk boy and security guy are both very nice. Bathroom is good with shower and bathtub. Air-con is quite noise and the curtain has no anti-sunrise function. We need take a taxi daily to BTS as it is quite far away. Room rate is reasonable. This small hotel has lift is really wonderful for lazy guests. Bedroom is clean and big. Wi-Fi is not strong but still enough. Front desk boy and security guy are both very nice. Honestly, I will book this hotel again for my next trip to Bangkok.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel is near to Ekkamai Bus Station if you want travel to Rayong, Trat (Koh Chang), Pattaya. Take a big bus to those locations is a good experience.

The staff in the hotel were all very friendly. It is a trend now in Bangkok, every hotel that has a couple of nice shampoo bottles in the bathroom calls itself a boutique hotel..., Unfortunately, so is this hotel. The look of the hotel is very nice, especially the public areas, and it could have been a great hotel. BUT the showers are VERY bad, you get very cold water, or very hot, never the temperature that you want, and the water pressure is bad too. Almost impossible for the taxis to find this place, and if you try to call the hotel, the only thing you get is an answering machine in Thai, not English...
TV is VERY un-clear.
It could have been a great hotel, but unfortunately, can NOT recommend it .
Restaurant Tip : Seems like a few good places to eat in that street.

very quiet and very spacious room far from BTS station and restaurant Hotel quiet and far from night life, security good and front desk friendly. room have a hard wood floor this is good for clean and healthy compare to room with carpet.

the room have no carpet, clean, big and the staff is very nice. The location is a little far from the BTS but there is always moto taxi or more safe taxi. I came several time in this hotel for the room, the quiet area and far from tourism. It is a little far from BTS but transportation are always easy to find in Bangkok. The breakfast is good and price when you book with agoda always very reasonable for what you get for this hotel.

The varidavan hotel is a quiet place. It is a bit old but well maintained. The rooms are clean and the bed is half decent. One problem was the single elevator which was quite busy at all times. The hotel is in a quiet area but it is far from shopping and at least 1 half an hour walk to the nearest BTS station. Good place to stay if you only want to spend a few nights in Bangkok and rest.

quiet area, friendly service Old building, very slow single elevator The varindavan hotel is a decent establishment with a friendly staff, always ready to assist us when needed. However, the hotel is located too far from the downtown area where activities are happening, there are not many restaurants or services close by and the access stgreet to the main street nearby can be a challenge if you dare walk it. If you are planning to do some shopping I suggerst you choose a different hotel or be ready to pay hundred fifty baht to get you to MBK and the likes of it. It is not close to any BTS/skytrain station. If you are looking for a quiet place for a night or two this may just be it.

friendly and helpful staff I chose always hotels with in-room safetybox. Upon arrival it didn't have, but 2 hours later it was installed( only my room) Wireless Internet quick and easily available for reasonable price.Rooms and hotel are not at 3 stars level(2 is enough). Hotel needs refrehment! Nightshop available. Not everybody at reception desk speaks workable English. Person in charge of booking excursions was not at all professional: I had to do myself! There is no discretion at reception desk. Price is not matching with value for money.

fair price, friendly and helpful staff. deep in Soy, so you need taxi each time. Little bit "old" In room safe not available, as shown on website, but installed within a few hours. Staff very friendly and helpfull, but they became to familary.Hotel need a refreshment in furnitures, but also bathroom.7/11 shop as neighbour, so very practical. Internet available for free, but not with wireless, but with cable.Do not visit card of hotel, otherwise taxi will not find.

Hotel recommend, room clean, equipment them to a decent. Also outside swimming-pool how grown - up so for children. Locality isn't again as bad as all write. Good personnel.

Shop on site. Nice pool on roof top. Overall great value for money. Taxi guys dont know where it is. That is easily overcome though. Just tell them the street name and not the hotel name. Breakfast not so good. Nice stay.
Very competitively priced.
Very friendly reception staff. Room clean and very big. Good TV channels. Bathroom very clean + bath (very nice). Quiet at night which is great. Shop and ATM on site. Very cheap internet. What else can I say....very nice stay. It is advertised as Sukhumvit - but it's really not. However you can get anywhere in a taxi for next to nothing. Would definitely stay again and certainly recommend it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to see Muaythai boxing at Lumpini Stadium - very good.

Great rates, Clean, Friendly Water pressure low & has a stench to it This is a great hotel for the rates you pay. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean & quiet. The staff can arrange tours for you if required. There is also a convience shop on site as well as a pool & internet access. I would stay here again if I go back to Bangkok
