Villa Cha Cha Hotel, Bangkok

Before I left I read the reviews of this hotel, and they were basically favorable, but I did not enjoy our stay here. The bathroom flooding was reported before, but I thought it would be resolved by the time we stayed there. But, we found the same problem, and it was from the condensation of the AC, we had to "wade" into about an inch of water each morning to use the toilet. The AC was inadequate. Very noisy--the sound came right through the walls and up the stairwells.

The hotel is basic but it is nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and helpful. It isnt the easiest place to find and it can be quite noisy at night. The pool doesnt get much sun becasue of all of the high rise buildings so it wouldnt be good if you're planning on staying by the pool, but i doubt most people would when in Bangkok. The front of the hotel did smell really badly from the sewars but before I went I requested a room at the back of the hotel which was high up so that we were away from the sewars and there was no smell in the room. Good value for money. We had a queen room and this was spacious and had everything we needed.

Villa Cha Cha is tucked away from the busy streets of Bangkok, very quiet and the perfect getaway from Koh Saon Road. The hotel is very clean, with excellent rooms. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. The pool is quite small, but is still a good place to relax and sit by.
