i've stayed here five times already and keep coming back.
the staff are becoming my friends and i always enjoy meeting their smiling faces -- starting from the airport host who meets the plane with name sign -- (she knows me now!) and then the airport shuttle driver and then reception -- all smiles and warm welcomes as well as the staff in housekeeping, the restaurant, etc., etc. i feel right at home!
the airport shuttle is free coming and going and the hotel is literally only 10 minutes from the airport which is extremely convenient when arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning!
the hotel is new and gorgeous and modern. the rooms are very large with excellent large bathrooms with bath tub and separate shower with rain faucet. great air conditioning that is silent and works really well. the bed is perfect . . . not too firm and not too soft. large flatscreen tv with many english channels, refrigerator with free water . . . nice decorative touches too. lovely swimming pool too. great free wi-fi in rooms and lobby, etc.
i have four more nights already booked at vismaya later this month. the staff are very kind and always willing to help out with anything you need. they also have shuttles that go to a local shopping mall as well as the new bangkok ikea.

Hotel of the future but please dont let things goto rack and ruin here.breakfast needs some guesswork to work out what some of the food is and some features of the hotel are showing small sinds of wear and tear. Its good value for money and worth the stay for transit. I will be back. thankyou

We stayed three nights at Laluna and loved every minute of it!
We payed baht each for a in room massage and the staff were great and really respectful of our privacy. Lovely clean bathrooms.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Book a tour around Chiang Rai with Jermsak.... he is the best of the best.

lovely hotel for a quick stay

this is a great hotel to stay if you're overnighting in Bangkok before flying on elsewhere. clean, comfortable and spacious. however not much around - you need to go in to Bangkok to keep occupied and that is a very long taxi ride (if in traffic) or a short taxi ride to the airport to get on the express to get into town.

This hotel is super nice, we we not expecting it to be as nice as it was. Its a perfect place for a over night stay flying out the next day. They have a free shuttle anytime you need it. They have an awesome pool and good food. The rooms are really nice and the hotel feels new and clean which is a nice change in Thailand. The one problem we had was that one of the front desk people did scam us. We wanted to take the skytrain and asked how to walk there. She told us it was closed and we'd have to take a taxi.. it was only 4 pm. We asked her again, we said it should be open until 11pm. She said no not today. So whatever we got an over priced cab and got to town and the skytrain was fully running.. so the hotel staff arent that great. But aside from that we loved the hotel.

A nice surprise

i stayed at the hotel because i missed a flight and had to spend the night in bangkok. in booking it i didn't think it would be more than an inexpensive airport hotel. i was quite surprised to arrive and find a modern and sophisticated hotel. the staff was great and very helpful in organizing a free shuttle to the airport. the pool is beautiful, clean and inviting. the rooms may seem a bit stark for some but i like it. the bed was very comfortable and i loved the shower and bath tub. they have free coffee and tea in the room. the restaurant is a bit expensive, but the food was good.

I had a very short stay here, on a stopover between flights. I often have short stopovers in Bangkok and would say this hotel was the best one. The rooms were very modern and comfortable. I wouldn't know about the breakfast as I had to leave for my flight really early.
