Fantastic pool area

I really liked the hotel, the rooms were very clean and modern. The pool and the pool area were really nice. The staff were always very helpful. The hotal is right next to a skytrain station which is great for the daytime. The only downside is that you are a good 10 minutes outside of the action downtown.

The rating of the hotel and the price for each night are quite reasonable for me. We stated there for three nights and found that the room service is very good. However, it seems that the hotel is too far away from Siam and it takes us almost a hour to travel.
Overall, I would say this hotel is suitable for family or couple to stay.

overall it was very nice. it was located about 25 minutes away from the airport. it's not really in the center of the city but there's a metro stop 1 minute walking distance away. the staff doesn't speak much english. in fact, we found the doorman speaks better english than the front desk. my friend and i loved the noodle stand from the local market across the street from the hotel. the pool and the gym isn't big but they are nice. p.s. on the way back from the shopping mall, we forgot to take the hotel business card and it was a huge mistake....

I liked staying at the Viva Garden the the first time I came to Bangkok, and booked myself back in as I checked out.
I can't review the food/dining properly as I never ate at the restaurant.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the restaurant at the Jim Thompson House.
