i stayed here only 1 night with my husband. the hotel's location is great, it's in the heart of china town but the guestroom is not so good, looks not so clean and stinking. the service is good though.

Convenient and full of good food around the hotel ! There are plentiful of street hawkwer selling good thai foods, The market is just around the corner. There are many things to shop in the wholesale market. There are many temple around for those who like to worship . The most important of all the room rate is cheap and good!
Nightlife Tip : Take a Taxi to the near by night market on Saturday night, It is open till late morning to 5am. It is crowded and packed with shoppers.

location to train station and china town no windows in the hotel room, shower cold, breakfast poor. stayed for 2 nites to travel out of city on train to laos. good location but not great hotel for value. we got cheapish deal but walk in rates v expensive.

noisy at night, can hear the sound outside the room good service and is clean for the room. Breakfast is good, but the bath tub in the bathroom is dirty, at night, is noisy, can hear the voice outside the room. The door should be sound proof so that the customer can sleep tightly. Ask for room that is having windows but don't have the room for the windows.
Nightlife Tip : is near to food stalls can have food easily...

Surrounding area can fine a lot of food stall which sells wonderful local food and not a problem to get a taxi. A good location which is not so congested ie pratunam area, got wholesaler for shoe also but sell in dozen and not pair of course. Breakfast provided not too bad with good choice. Hotel rooms not well lighted, a bit worn out, tv not clear also and most important air cond. Not too good. Would be so much better all the above can be upgraded. Good location in the centre of Chinatown. Room is quite old with no window. White Orchid Hotel is located in the centre of Chinatown. There are lots of restaurant around hotel i.e street shop, shark fin restaurant. The room has no window with the old condition. Lobby is quite noisy.
Restaurant Tip : You should try shark fin soup and seafood at Chinatown.

rooms were old and dingy, pictures are misleading. The rooms at the White Orchid were pretty old and dingy ,and looked nothing like the pictures. I paid for the upgraded room, and was lucky enough to have a window, but the room probably hasn't been renovated in 20 years. The lamp shades were held together by tape, the sheets were scratchy, and there was a condom by the drinking glasses (to give you an idea of how classy the hotel is). Safety wasn't a concern - there was an evening guard on my floor that stayed the whole night. Good for bargain travelers I guess, but definitely don't believe the pictures.

Location---Best for food, centre of China town.
Price--- Good price. No internet in the room.
Very thin curtain,you'll be awake 6am after sun rise. They have to change the carpet as it is so dirty and the whole hotel smell moldy.
Air-con is too noisy and not cooling.
But overall, it's still value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take taxi is cheaper than TUTU.

After I booked my room online, I flew over with much enthusiasm of a pleasant stay, good food and perhaps some shopping but was sadly disappointed. The first thing that hit me was the room which could do with some overdue renovation. Just compare the hotel across the road, at least it did a better job of making their rooms more presentable. And as I was on a honeymoon trip, the most important thing was that my wife was happy, which she was definitely not. Anyway we stayed a night and woke up to breakfast at 7am. Here again was a letdown. No choice and poor serving is what I can sum up on the food.
Restaurant Tip : The food at China Town is excellent although costly.

They have 3 lifts. But they are old and felt like unsafe. Sometime lifts are not working properly. White Orchard hotel is just so so. But Their breakfast is not attractive. Almost the same everyday.

Poor rooms, beds not comfortable, not worth money The hotel is situated in chinatown which is very lively and a lot to do, but the room is poor. The lighting is dingy and the beds are not in any way comfortable, especially for what you are paying!

The best selling point is that the location is very good and convenient. There are alot of local food selling at night. The thing that I don't like is the hotel has no slipper for guest. And when I asked for a safe to put my things, there are no more bigger safe and I feel that the receptionist(night) is impolite. The hotel must look into guest needs & improved. I suggest that they should have the survey or feedback form inorder for guest to revert on their services.
Overall, I am still happy with the services.
Restaurant Tip : There are alot of restaurant here has good chinese food, the restaurant is clean also.
But you should also try the roadside food.It is more local.

The hotel is strategically located in Chinatown. Seafood is extremely good there and I had a great feast throughout my stay. Travelling to main shopping district is rather convenient from where I stayed. The room door does not seem to be secured. The air-conditioning is rather noisy and had to request for a change of room. The receptionist is not very friendly. The hotel is well situated in Chinatown. There are lots of places for dining around the area such as seafood meals. Around the corner of the hotel is where you can get all things that you need and you don't even have to travel so far to Chatuchak. The complimentary breakfast included is rather good and is worth the stay in this hotel. However, do not expect too much out of what you paid for as the room is just satisfactory. The hotel staff (especially the receptionist) is rather unfriendly and unhelpful.
Shopping Tip : Go opposite the hotel towards the lane selling fruits, and you will be surprised to find all sorts of stuffs that you might want to get as souveniers. The prices are wholesale and very cheap.

The breakfast is delicious and service is excellent . And the price is also excellent. The air conditioner is too noisy , please replace it I am glad to living in your hotel two night . The place is convenient for shopping and eating .
The service is also very good. Front end service and room service is excellent .
I would like to introduce my friend and my relative to live in your hotel if they are going to bangkok for visitor or business trip.
It is best for our tenant for providing the picking up and sending guest to international airport.
