Great stay!
Good location,walking distance to shops,food and public underground and sky trains.

Despite poor reviews about the old building,I found it alright.Stayed 4nights in May. There were 2 lifts which were fast. I booked the standard deluxe but was graciously upgraded to the counsellor one bedroom suite,which was excellent. The room and toilet was well cleaned daily. The staff was helpful,friendly and I enjoyed the hotel gym,which is a Clark Hatch fitness gym.
Location was extremely good,within walking distance to both skytrain BTS and underground MRT.In fact,I walked to MBK plaza and Pratunam,instead of using public transport. It is a good hours' walk,but its a good way to know the streets. Will stay here again.

accommodating staff, accessibility to BTS Asok station and nearby malls (e.g., Emporium), and near to currency exchange counter (CIMB Thai) with better rates than others

A good quality hotel in a great location between 2 BTS stations with good access to local nightlife and restaurants. Room was good, with staff in general well trained and courteous. I did have a medical issue (Chest Pain) on my second last day and required either a doctor or ambulance, but staff at the front desk were either not trained or not interested in helping. Eventually caught a taxi to a hospital, but reality is high quality international hotels need to be better organised in an emergency. Happily nothing serious, but for me simply not good enough...

nice room but no wifi in room
clean, big and good room service

the hotel room was nice, big and clean but dated. it took me a day to figure out how to get hot water in the shower. the nobs were put on wrong, so hot was cold and cold was hot. also i was very upset with no wifi in my room. apparently you have to go to the lobby to use your wifi which is inconvient, the lobby is a world away. i think they should state that in the details.
