Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

good.
location, value for money ,friendly staff
8.3
Great location . Close to Hualampong train station(10-15 min walking ) or 50-60 baht with tuk tuk. 10 min from Sky train and metro . really close to river pier to catch a boat up/down the river . Friendly staff. Hotel is old a bit rundown but clean and is excellent for budget travelers. Biggest down side is that there is no WiFi covarage in the second building so had to run down to the lobby ;-(.

Clean and basic
Location in the heart of China town
5.7
It was clean nothing special about it, wouldn't say it was worth the money, but everyone has different expectations.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You are very close to the river and the pier where you catch the local boat for 15 baht up to the palace and temples.
There is also the Lebura tower, which has the really lovely sky bar, well worth a visit at sunset and for a nice cocktail.

Cheap but a strange place
3
To be honest I'll not go back to this pculace. As a tourist from Europe I did not feel wcome in this indian focussed hotel. I was welcomed in an unfriendly way. They didn't trust my agoda booking. I was sent to an adjacent building without security. You could walk straight into the whole building and go to the diffent floors. I forgot to mention that the hotel is in a dark alley and the whole place is smelling like chloride. I did not feel safe or relaxed

You get what you pay for
Great food in the restaurant
7.3
All in all, you get what you pay for. Anyone surprised at the Woodlands is someone who is thinking with their wallet. The bonus is the proximity to the royal orchid sheraton so unless you have business there, not really much of a point in staying at that part of town. The restaurant is brilliant and I can eat that kind of south indian food everyday, I was there on a job fair and it served its purposes. The plus is that it is quiet. But at least the room I got is extremely low budget. Clean enough though, but that is about it. TV is poor, but I wasn't there to watch tv either.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to china town and close to the Sheraton. Otherwise not sure why you would stay in this part of town unless you had business in that area.

Nothing special
Hotel near to the trainstation
8
I made a reservation because I would arrive laten and leave early with the train.
It's enough for a shower and to sleep.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close (3 minutes with tut tuk) to the main trainstation.
