the hotel has large and spacious rooms, which my cousin and sister enjoyed. it's a very quaint hotel and we felt pretty relaxed during the whole duration of our stay. the staff are very friendly, accomodating and helpful. we definitely will book there again the next time we visit bangkok.
it's a bit far from the new airport and city. not much to see in the neighborhood except for the local market.
we really liked our whole stay with xen suites primarily because their hotel staff are very friendly, accomodating and helpful. they made sure that all our needs were met and that we enjoy our stay in bangkok. the hotel although minimalistic are spacious and very relaxing. the whole aura of the hotel promotes a feeling of zen.

Staff, close to everything
lobby confusing to find at first
When we checked in they couldn't give us 3 rooms close to each other as requested so we were upgraded and ended up staying 7 nights in amazing rooms although their basic rooms were still value for money. The staff couldn't be more helpful in every way,,, No need to venture far for great food, 5 restaurants in the building and very reasonable prices. Skytrain across the road. Many of the staff spoke enough english to help with whatever we needed help with
Shopping Tip : dont take set price on taxi or tuk tuk,,, Only use taximeter.. its half the price

Friendly staff. That's about it.
Smelly rooms. Badly in need of some investments.
Stayed for 2 nights with 2 children. Rooms were big -but the whole-floor carpet created a claustrophobic feeling. We settled for the third room they showed us. Probs for friendly and understanding staff. Restaurant OK. Everything needs renovation in this hotel. Good that they changed their name from "Quality Suites" to Xen. The latter is less misleading. Can recommend this for anyone who spends less then 8h in Bangkok..

dogs barking all night, bed at a 20 degree angle no word of a lie. I felt like I was going to fall or roll off the bed. Very scary neighboooorhood
this hotel is absolutely not worth the money. It's cheap but it delivers for even less than anyone would expect. The staff is not friendly, you do not feel safe to go out. The smell is horrific and the bed is the worst thing I have ever slept on. I do not recommend this hotel at all. I should have gone directly to the airport and sleep on a bench.
Travel tip : best tip ever: don't go there

Good location for Don Muang airport - very pleasant staff attitude ( Sebastian was a gem !)- very good restaurant and buffet. Clean and comfortable.
Very good little Thai restaurant almost opposite - and within walking distance of large ITP shopping center.
No TV in bed room - and the shower head holder was too high for the available flexible hose, made showering a bit difficult.
I really like the place - We were upgraded to a senior site at no extra charge which was huge with 3 double beds.
Dinner was very good indeed not cheap but not overly expensive considering the quality and the buffet was similarly good in all respects.
Didn't go to swim but the pool looked spotless and very inviting.
Restaurant Tip : Try the Thai restaurant opposite , the boss is Chen and the waiter is Boy! good food and cheap drinks.

Staff, Big room, Good location
Not much to do in the area
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 1 night. We selected this hotel becouse it is near the domestic airport, and very near the Thai foreign Ministry, where we was going to do paperworks. We have the superior suite, and it was a great room. Seprate bedroom and livingroom, and a big nice bathroom. The restaurant was not too good, and the area around the hotel is not much too talk about. The staff was nice, and the room clean. Good hotel if you are in Bangkok for fixing papers, or if you need to stay close to the domestic airport.

Very spacious rooms--clean quiet and well prepared.
This is the second time i have stayed in the hotel and received superb service at a very agreeable price. the staff were extremely courteous friendly and helpful, showing a good command of English language when called upon. it is ideally located in a quiet of main road location, affording quick access to local Thai restaurants .and access to more central areas in Bangkok. i would have no problem in recommending others to use this hotel.
Shopping Tip : Very close to shopping mall for general shopping and eating.

Close to Don Muang Airport gives this hotel a huge advantage. The rooms are large, clear an the bed lined is 110%
The Hotel was hard to find due to a recent name change. Agoda should list the previous names & include a "directions in Thai" for taxi drivers
We chose this hotel due to the loacation being close to the Domestic Don Muang Airport. We arrived at 1:00am in the Morning however we were warmly greeted and shown to our room. The Suite was spacious and very well set out. The main bedroom had 2 x queen beds. The romm was spotless & the bed linen was better that we had experienced in many hoel stays (both in Thailand and overseas)
The breakfast was excellent and again the service was faultless.
Hotel Feature Tip : The previous name was the Quality Suites. Taxis know this hotel better by the old name. Very very close to the Bangkok Domestic terminal and very very very quiet.

Big rooms plus a living room.
The direction of the hotel.
This is a great family hotel close to Don Muang Airport. It had 2 double beds in each suite and they were very comfortable plus there was a living room in each unit. One problem was that not many taxi drivers knew where the place was - the directionfor the hotel was not very clear.
Shopping Tip : Great mall in walking distance of the hotel - IT square.

In fairness this was probably once a very good hotel, however it is lacking charm and is a little outdated. The roomd are huge, but very basic. It should be noted that the hotel had just changed ownership and has been renamed the Zen Suites Bangkok though our taxi driver only knew it by its old name. It is close to Don Mueng Airport maybe 15 minutes away, and so is convenient for domestic flights, although, at the moment the hotel doesnt offer any evening meal, so you must eat outside which is quite tricky when you are english and all the menus are in Thai! Overall the hotel is ok for a one night stay.
