No porter service! Have to carry heavy luggage up very steep steps without help. Taxi took 1and 1/2 hours to got 1 Kilometer. better if transport available for pick up. Reception not at ground level and no one to direct where to go. Basically, the rooms are very nice. However, the service could be better as stated above, have to carry luggage up very steep steps, no one to direct or assist when arrived at hotel, bad traffic, took 1 and 1/2 hours to travel 1 kilometer to hotel, Security guard not discrete, however, the limo guy was really excellent, took us to some very nice places without ripping us off ..... still can find some very good guys in this world - also a plus as he spoke very good English and waited for us wile we shop without any complaints, even with the bad traffic, not a bad word utter form the driver.

The friendly reception staff who seem to be getting to know me. Also the location remains a big selling point for me. Again I found the street level lobby staff to be less friendly. By arriving in to Thailand on a Sunday, I benefited from the much reduced traffic volumes. Less than an hour from leaving the airport to being in my room made a pleasant change. Big smiles from the reception staff greeted me. They had everything prepared and all I needed to do was sign the registration card, give them my passport to photocopy and get them to take an impression of my credit card. 2 / 3 minutes maximum! Would have put a five star hotel to shame. A good buffet breakfast was served in the morning, but this was somewhat spoilt by the too loud music they were playing.
Nightlife Tip : The Huntsman Pub in the bottom of the nearby Landmark hotel has a good selection of sports to watch on their many TV sets around the walls.

A good quality Hotel at a very good location with good room rates. I did not come across any negative aspects during my stay. Travel tip : This hotel is situated 5 minte walk from the Bumrungrad International Hospital and is a must stay if you are visiting this Hospital. No roads to cross - easy access - perfect location
