An above average boutique hotel that gives you everything you need for a quiet holiday.about 20 mins away from the centre of Chiangmai. Not much to do around and about the hotel.
- Travel tip : Do not try to do the Golden Triangle in one day it is much further than quoted in the travel brochures.
The Elephant Camps are a must!

As the hotel is a bit outside of Chiang Mai be patient with the taxi and tuk tuk drivers - even they might get a bit lost.

Restaurant food was very good.
Location is a little out of the way but there is a shuttle service to the town centre a few times per day. It was a little difficult to find a taxi/tuk tuk that would take us back to the hotel at reasonable prices due to it being out of the main city centre.

Stay in an upstairs room, eat out rather than at the resort. Take advantage of the beautiful swimming pool.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Definitely go up to the big temple on the hill, Doi Suthep, as the hotel isn't far away from there (Ayatana is situated just off Suthep Road).

Small number of rooms set around an attractive pool. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great if you want to base yourself in the hotel and only make the odd trip into the center of town.
