The Baan Deva Montra Garden Cottages offer eleven spacious villas, each villa is set in 800-1,600 square meters of private, exquisite and lush tropical garden and vegetation. Each villa has a beautiful patio, individually designed and decorated, offering fine views of the resort, with a day bed where guests can enjoy a quiet breakfast, a good book or sip cocktails at sunset. The cottages offer King and Queen sized beds or twin beds.

Each of the Baan Deva Montra Pool Villas is set in an exquisite 400-800 square meters of lush tropical garden, surrounded by a wall offering utter privacy and tranquility. Attached to the large master bedroom, fully equipped with all modern conveniences with king/queen-size beds or twin beds, is a romantic outdoor bathtub. The bedroom opens onto an outdoor Jacuzzi pool which is situated next to a sala (gazebo), perfect for reading, relaxing, dining or entertaining guests. Families with young children may be interested in turning the gazebo into an exciting nighttime 'camping' experience where Baan Deva Montra staff can set up mosquito netting and bedding. Each pool villa comes with its very own pantry.

As the name suggests the Baan Deva does provide a good range of spa and massage facilities.
- Travel tip : As the hotel is on the outskirts of the city beware of day tour operators trying to impose heavy transfer supplements. These can be negotiated down or, alternatively, the hotel itself will organise transport at a reasonable price.

We loved the laid back quiet nature of this hotel. If you want action and need to be in the city - this is not the hotel for you. If you appreciate good food, nature, a slower pace, yoga and the spa, then you will love Baan Deva Montra.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You must go to the Maetaman Elephant Camp and Bamboo Rafting tour. This was the highlight of our trip to Chiang Mai. Also do not miss the Sunday Walking market - that has wonderful handicrafts. This is a much nicer experience than the Night Market and has much more interesting things to offer.
