Jacuzzi system in the pool, the bathroom is very nice

the location is a little bit far from the airport or the city, almost 20-30 minutes by taxi. they should make a heating system for the pool in case of the water is cold

i have stayed for three night and they were owesome, it was really nice hotel and valve for money.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : a lot of trees flowers and a lot of fantastic scenes

Service, location, staff and most of all quietness. .

Better restaurant menu with variety and a bit away from the town. 15 minutes from the airport .

The staff is very polite and very attentive to the customers requirement. The housekeeping and the also the rest of the staff ws very helpful and always at your service. If you are looking for a place to spend a quiet vacation and specially for couples or on honey this is the place. You could hardly hear any noise except for the birds and also the privacy. I am going back again. The rooms very spacious and very comfortable.

Hotel Feature Tip : The service and the privacy and not forgetting the comfort.

Friendly welcome, delicious food from the restaurant, calm and private houses, free DVDs to borrow, and free internet connection

no wine available at the restaurant, no french spoken (but english works), isolated - 20 mins away from center Chiang Mai (but very calm)

We stayed in a one bedroom house (including outside pool) which was very private - ideal for our honeymoon. The grounds are covered with beautiful gardens, including frangapanis and Teak trees. The staff are very friendly and happy to organise day trips, massages, room service.... This pictouresque hotel is located near the Night Safari and Doithrup mountains, 20 mins away from center of Chiang Mai (easily reached by a taxi if you dont have your own transport.)

Restaurant Tip : Highly recommend the spring rolls with the mustard and plum sauce from the restaurant. delicious.

Away frm the hustle of city life. Take advantage of the pool villa.

Unless you are into peace and tranquility, this resort is far from city.

Had a wonderful time there. Coincidently it was the festival of Loy Krathong. Beautiful at nite. Had the exec pool villa. Was lovely. But to enjoy the outdoor pool/jacuzzi, come during mid year. Staff were very helpful even if they spoke little english, they'll ensure they understand you rather assume. Wonderful place to find peace.

Calm, in the middle of the nature, great pool villa, good food.

No pick up service from and to Chian Mai/ Airport. DVD choice is insufficient.

The Baan Deva Montra Boutique Resort in Chiang Mai is a peaceful small boutique resort with friendly staff, good food, well decorated rooms and pool villa. Very clean and nice park in the middle of the forest. The food of the restaurant was good but a little more expensive than in the city center (but who cares for 50 euro cents for more for a plate of fried rice???)

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very close to Chiang Mai Night Safari.

As the name suggests the Baan Deva does provide a good range of spa and massage facilities.

Travel tip : As the hotel is on the outskirts of the city beware of day tour operators trying to impose heavy transfer supplements. These can be negotiated down or, alternatively, the hotel itself will organise transport at a reasonable price.

We loved the laid back quiet nature of this hotel. If you want action and need to be in the city - this is not the hotel for you. If you appreciate good food, nature, a slower pace, yoga and the spa, then you will love Baan Deva Montra.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You must go to the Maetaman Elephant Camp and Bamboo Rafting tour. This was the highlight of our trip to Chiang Mai. Also do not miss the Sunday Walking market - that has wonderful handicrafts. This is a much nicer experience than the Night Market and has much more interesting things to offer.

I would recommend a pool villa for added privacy. However the garden cottages also look very nice.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Sunday Walking Street is a much more attractive than the Night Market. Strongly recommended!
