Amazing small boutique hotel with lovely garden

We stayed in 3 hotels during this trip in Chiang Mai, and we both think Baan Klang Wiang is the best except for the location a little bit far from the shopping area. The garden is small but lovely with very good design. The hotel, unlike those sizable ones, are quiet for most of the time, and we also enjoyed the cute swimming pool a lot.

It's very rare that the internet photos of the hotel match with the real thing, but in this case, the hotel was even more beautiful than I'd hoped! Individual (generous) breakfast in the garden, sitting beside the pool. High ceilings throughout. The best of Asian wooden furniture. Comfortable beds and good quality fittings throughout. The service was warm and unpretentious. Absolutely perfect! Perhaps the only risk is that in a small hotel, the other guests can have a large impact on the enjoyment of the stay.

Hidden Paradise

Klang Wiang is based in the Old Quarter of Chiang Mai and walking distance to most things. Hotel is a relaxing hidden paradise with no loud neighbours. Staff were so helpful and friendly and excellent service. I would defiantly stay there again.
