The facilities are typical of a small hotel but this is what we wanted. You can stay in a high rise anywhere, the decor and design is very traditional of the area which helps you get a feel of the area and the people. A lot of thought has gone into making your stay very enjoyable.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Tea and coffee facilites are available if you request them for your room on arrival.

We stayed six days and had the same boring small breakfast every day. Staff is helpful but not knowledgeable, i.e. no suggestions could be made for trips to and around Chiang Mai. Only expensive transport services were available to Chiang Mai, I paid half the price when I arranged it myself. Bikes or motorbikes should be made available for small trips. I had expected a small hotel in a nice and green environment/ garden rather than a big house in a villa compound with no garden at all. Finally this is NOT a 5 star, I would rank it 3 at the max.
- Travel tip : Stay here for one night only on the way to other destinations.

You cannot get any hot drinks or food in the room at other times. There is a very good restaurant attached to this hotel, but this is in another building that is a five-minute walk away. And it is not like having a coffee shop or bar that you can just pop into for that beer or coffee at the end of day. We did not find this a problem. But we think many people would like to have this facility. The room did have a mini fridge. This only had beer, cola, and water in it. Tea and coffee making facilities are pretty much standard all over the world now.

Our experience was comparable to the Four Seasons Resort located in Chiang Mai, however more intimate and at a lower cost.
