In my opinion, the personnel at this hotel are not professional. However, for the price, it is overall reasonable.

It's not far from town in a cab but I went on songkran and it's not easy or quick to get a cab that weekend, plus they hike up the prices to 100 baht plus. On top of that the hotel staff, although friendly and helpful, didn't seem to know how to order me a cab. Luckily I had a card for the one I got from the airport. Again I think this was because it was songkran and the cab firms were busy. The day before I left I wanted to book a bus to Chiang Mai and again, although they tried their best, the staff didn't know how to book the bus for me so I had to just turn up at the bus station at 8am to discover that the first bus was fully booked. I suppose Baan Tai is catering for those with their own transport.
