No great things, reminded me of the horror hotel The Motel! 2.3 Worse hotel, plastic mattresses, mosquito and baby cockroches everywhere, filthy, even found a dead bird in a cupboard that has been there for months, do i need to say more?
Alex K. Couples United Kingdom, April 12, 2013	Lovely teak building in need of some care. Cheapish, nice staff, quiet 5.3 We chose the Baan Thai resort based on 2 things: Cost and Proximity to the Bus station. Unfortunately, we were misled by GoodMaps which showed the bus station as being south of the Old co. In fact the Opposite is true and all 3 bus stations are North and North East so were about as far from the bus station as we could be. It is extremely hard to find a taxi that will use the meter in Chiang Mai. If they do they want a 50bht service charge. A taxi from the bus station to Baan Thai will cost you 100/120 Baht if you can bargain well, 250 if you can't. Upon arrival we were impressed with the building made entirely of teak and the staff at the desk spoke good English. The room was entirely teak, walls and wardrobe. There were two decent sized beds in the room separated by a bedside table. A small tv which had 2 American film channels showing good movies all day. The bathroom was larger than most we'd stayed and had a bath. Unfortunately the bath was extremely dirty and the tiling around the bath was suffering from mould. The pool is small but it's quiet and there is a nice garden adjacent to it. There were only two chairs, no sun loungers so if you were't the first you wold have o lie on he floor by the side of the pool. We didn't use the restaurant but the bar at the front serves food, similar prices to food in the city, not as cheap as street food but not over priced. A large bottle of Leo beer will cost 70bht. There is a 7/11 just 30 meters from the hotel (a Leo here costs about 55bht) There is also an Internet cafe just opposite the 7/11. Wifi access in the hotel varies depending on which room you get. At times we struggled for connectivity at all. It takes about 20/25 minutes to walk to the walls of the old city. 40 mins to walk to the popular Loi Khro road. You can hire scooters all over Chiang Mai for 150bht a day. We hired one from the shop about 150metrs away from the Orel on the opposite side of the road (KC motors). We got a bigger bigg

Couples Russia, April 04, 2013	Perfect Cousy quite place with garden view and friendly stuff 8.3 I enjoyed it very much, nice big garden area, with the swimming pool and other facilities. I was impressed by friendly staff, very helpful in organizing my needs. Very important for me was the Internet connection, wich was very good. It was nice to see that the staff was taking care of the garden and clearness all over the territory. So big thanks to householders and staff, due to them I felt myself very comfortable at this place.
