Beautiul setting, clean, excellent service. Free e-mail.
Massages overpriced and I felt that the girls were not very experienced
This hotel is in a beautiful setting with lovely grounds. It is not too far from central Chiangmai, airport and tourist spots. They provide a great driver who will take you anywhere for a reaonable price.very clean and the service was excellent. The included breakfast was delicious and other meals were aso very good. The cost was very reasonable. Overall very good value for money. It is advertised as a spa hotel with massages but the ones that we had were done by young girls who we felt were not very experienced and were very expensive compared with Thai massages we had in Bangkok.
Nightlife Tip : Don't forget the night market.

Design & Comfort - beautifully laid out with great attention to detail. Lots of nice touches. Bedlinen turndown each evening and fresh flowers left on pillow. 8KM out along the river from the city centre...nice and quiet location but still easy enough with taxi's or rented motorbikes.
The breakfast was poor and not what I expected at all from such an otherwise great hotel. The staff were lovely but English levels in general need improvement
My only voived complaint about leaves in the pool and the pool area not being swept regularly was immediately dealt with. After that I never saw leaves in the pool again. I loved my stay at Ban Sabai. I was also dissapointed in breakfast. The fresh orange juice was so bitter it was undrinkable and the OJ was served after the coffee which were both served after the food. Stayed for a weekk and after day 2 ate breakfast out every day. Otherwise I found Ban sabai to be luxerious and a real treat for myself. Was upgraded to a Blue Diamon Jacuzzi Suite...loved that! Would definitey come back again if I could find the right deal on the net..otherwise a bir pricey for me
Travel tip : The location is well out of town and difficult to find. I however, chose it for it's seclusion and quietness. Make sure you have the hotels phone number with you so directions can be given to taxi driver in Thai by the hotel staff.

the staff here are very friendly and always ready to lend a hand. The setting is very quiet and relaxing (not that I got a lot of time to relax, wife to busy shopingX. Decore is very beautiful, one of the best I've seen.
breakfast a little light on, but not to bad.
the early morning wake up call from the rooster, but got us of to a early start.
about a 100 b tot tot ride from night bizzar, I hired a motor bike to add a little bit of fredom, but not a good idea if you want to drink to much, hard enough sober.
