Excellent hotel!!!
Location, quietness, hospitality of staff, efficiency, clean, beautiful rooms.

Excellent service with impeccable staff. Beautiful rooms and the location is close to everything. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and have travelled around to many places in Thailand, but Bodhi Serene is by far the best hotel that we have stayed in! I would come back again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Book a trip to see the hill tribes.

A lovely hotel spoiled by noisy neighbours

Everything felt good from the moment of check-in: the reception staff and porter were so polite and helpful. The room was large and well appointed, and the bed linens and towels were spotless. The bathroom was huge, with a walk-in shower and a separate bath tub, large enough for two in comfort.
The roof-top swimming pool was large enough to do some lengths and the water was clean. Pool-side service was excellent.
Breakfast was a little disappointing - a good selection but the food was only luke warm, at best, although the fresh-cooked omlettes were excellent.
The only let-down was the noise from the neighbouring bars. On the first night (Friday)we were still kept awake at 3:00 a.m. We complained by telephine to reception and were promised a relocaoion to another room the next day. This went ahead and the new room was a little quieter.
Overall a super hotel, but the ambience was spoiled by the noise.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The night bazaar is a 15-20 minutes walk away (or 5 minutes by tuk-tuk or taxi).
A visit to the Queen Sirikit Botanical garden is well worth the 30 minutes taxi ride.

Bodhi Serene - a must stay

Perfect location for Sunday night markets. Rooms excellent, huge bed (a little too firm), gorgeous pillows, good nights sleep. Nightly courtesy bus to night bazaar. Staff extremely helpful, spoke good english. Lovely roof top pool, very very clean. Will definitely return.
Restaurant Tip:
Take courtesy bus to bazaar and try Lemongrass on Loikhor Road - fabulous food and atmosphere!

good for couple or honeymoon stay. quite area in the old town, and just one step to the night life center of chiang mai. Lots of tourist agency nearby and convenient for tourist. comtempory interior design, but mixed with antique decoration. A good jacuzzi in room which is quite surprised to me and rare to see in other hotels.

Great location, small beds

The location and staff was quite friendly. It was easy to communicate as their english was quite good. The room was nice but the beds were on the small size. They made the extra effort to ensure that our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. My daughter had just had a birthday and they send up a wonderful fruit basket to our room. That was a nice touch.

The bedroom and bathroom are fabulous. Love the wooden theme and layout of the hotel. Will definitely stay there again. Nice location in the old city and within walking distance of most night markets.

Friendly and helpful staff. great room, great breakfast, great location within city centre

Overall we were extremely happy with our stay at the boutique hotel.
The hotel was well situated being close to areas of interest such as walking street market and only minutes from night bazaar.
It was attactive in appearance and decor once you got inside.
All staff were very helpful and extremely courteous.
Would recommend to anyone.

Real Boutique Style Hotel

Restaurant Tip:
Good Hotel, but the food need to improved, can get the better food at outside.
