The recently opened boutique resort is set away from the Chiang Mai city center in a small village. Spend a day in the Old City, visiting some of the over 300 temples, browsing the shops, and getting a spa treatment. Visit the much revered Doi Suthep Temple, Bhumping Palace, botanical gardens and the night safari. Being outside the city limits give you a quiet holiday while at the same time you are just a short ride away from the crowds of Thailand's second largest city. You can hire a car along with a driver from the hotel to explore the city, or rent a bicycle and to better acquaint yourself with the nearby attractions. BuaSaree Resort is a charming little property in the equally charming city of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.

Quiet place with a small beautiful garden
A little bit far from city center
It is a small hotel which have only less than 10 rooms in total. I stayed in a cottage room, the room is quite nice and spacious, the bed is comfortable. And the traditional Thai breakfast is impressed. The hotel is located in a village which is a little bit far away from city center (about 15-20 mins by car). But hotel applies airport or train station pick up, that helps a lot. If you're a Thai and drive by yourself, i think it is a good choice. The small garden with a small lake looks beautiful. And the swimming pool also looks nice (I didn't try). I like my stay in this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There's some temples around the village, you can check with hotel staff.
