Everything favorable , staff friendly , the food was great with alot to try ,we enjoyed being across from the night market , so the location was perfect for us . And for the location it was still quiet at night tourist office very friendly , and helpful. rooms where clean , there was nothing more that I could ask for , and would stay there again , be my first call

i had a very enjoyable time at the centara duantawan!! the night life is amazing and the location is close to everything you need. the room was perfect for what we wanted and very comfortable. overall we were extremely pleased with our time here and will have no trouble returning if we come back to thailand.
Shopping Tip:
walk through entire markets first before buying and ask prices to compare. you will be ripped off otherwise!

Charter a 8-hr taxi for own exploration if you have 3 - 4 persons. More flexibility, fun & economical.

very busy with a conference when we were there but a friendly, reasonably priced hotel in a great location. large gym too!

play with the tigers and go up the mountains and see the elephants

great hotel for such a nice price via agoda,great place,close to everything like night bazaar,restaurants, bars, massage, rent a motorbike.....svimming pool, helpfull staff, i can truly recommend this hotel...good way to enjoy very good and comfy 4* hotel 4 almost budget price,in my next stay in chiang mai will back stay there again....

I think this hotel is a good place to stay if you want to shop.
It is close to night bazzar and transportation is good. (you can catch local taxi or tuk tuk anywhere near to the hotel). But the area is kind of crowded and noisy. The room is okay but the carpet is smelly. however, bathroom is clean with good water pressure which I think very important!
overall, I was satisfied with the hotel and will stay here again.

The hotel was very easy to find on one of the main roads. It is conveniently located right by the night market, restaurants, bars, pharmacy and anything else you may need. By the same token it was also away from the noise and nightlife. My room was a good size with a safe, good air con and tv. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower room.
The gym and pool facilities were excellent and I made good use of the sauna/steam room amd jacuzzi. I had a foot massage too at the adjoining salon on the ground floor which was really effective. The breakfast buffet was overwhelming as there was such a wide range of food available. Overall, a really good hotel to stay in after sightseeing,shopping or just to chill out in.

location, reasonable rates, friendly and helpful taff, good size rooms, and clean, and the gym was complimentary

Front reception was friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to superior rooms with adjoining doors. Location was great and we had a pleasant stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Internet access was exhorbitant. Much cheaper to walk across the street and it's only 20 to 30 bht per hr.
Hotel cars were also exhorbitant. Much cheaper to use red taxis

My room over looks the Imperial and the building is opposite le Meridien hotel on the "Modern hotel" strip, walking distance to the Night Bazaar area with great food, drink and Thai tourist atmosphere.

great hotel for shopping
great location for shopping, staff are kind

the hotel is at the center of night bazzar which makes it a perfect location for shopping. i stayed here for 3 nights and i was able to reach many locations pretty easy. (redtaxi and tuk tuk everywhere near to the hotel). everything travelers need is close by (market, food, massage,rental shops, laundary etc). the staff was kind and provided help when needed.
