We had a good stay at the hotel. The staff were great especially the girls on our floor(6) who made up our room each day. always smiling and saying hello every morning. The breakfast was excellent with good choices. The hotel is in a great position. Close to everything. This a great hotel but is to big for my liking. I like the smaller hotels. It is a good hotel in a great position. The only downfall is the 4 small lifts to service 22 floors. A long wait at peak times. Walked down the stairs every morning for breakfast.Overall it is a good hotel but in the future I would stay in a smaller hotel close by

If you are on the Meezazine floor waiting for the lift. Take the escolater down to the lobby as the lifts fill up there

Great location 2 minutes from night bazaar

Very central to the night bazaar and old city , the rooms are ok but a little dated and perhaps overpriced the staff are a mixture of polite and helpful , however the reception staff could do with customer service skills
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take time to see the night bazaar , be prepared to barter with a large calculator that the stall holders seem to have , the old city is a ten minute walk with plenty of good bars , bike hire outside the hotel 200-300 baht per day, laundry outside the hotel 60 baht per kilo, and plenty of massage shops. There are also some really nice temples within walking distance. Chiangmai is great I loved my stay its hot in day and cool at night very friendly & relaxed place if you get take a Trip to Pai.

Great location, nice clean rooms but no free wifi
Location, decoration very clean and fresh.

Would recommend only 150 baht taxi between hotel and airport.
A small high level pool.
Only downside for 2-3 days they seem to be nailing down a carpet in the hall way at 8am.
No free wifi anywhere in the hotel which was a surprise.

i really enjoyed staying at centara duangtawan hotel which is located at an excellent location for shopping. on top of that, the hotel facilities also bring great convenience to guests. i am very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room as well. it was a wonderful and enjoyable stay for me. i would highly recommend it to my friends who wish to travel to chiang mai.

This was a short stay in a satisfactory hotel. The furnishings are a bit dated, but adequate. There were no towels when we checked in. They were brought up later in the afternoon. The pool is fine, but the pool area looks "tired".
