Centrally located, right in front of the night bazaar and within walking distance of the old city. A good value for money. Room was a little old and slightly smelling like it at first entry. The shower head was somewhat low - if you're a tall person, it may get uncomfortable. A good value for money, this hotel offers a very comfortable location close to the main attractions in the city. Overall, the room was clean, nice and comfortable, although the hotel was somewhat old and feeling like it when entering the room. The breakfast was very rich. The hotel's public areas was very luxurious - much more so than the rooms.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do the Flight of the Gibbbon! It's a lot of fun.

Centara hotel is situated in the excellent location easy access to night bazaar and walking distance to major attractions.
Hotel facilities are fully equipped with friendly service. The decoration and guest room amenities are also very attractive.

Excellent hotel, wonferful value for money, friendly staff, good restaurants, close to night markets and we couldn't fault it. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone going to Chiang Mai. We couldn't fault this hotel. Staying at the Centura Duagtawan was a wonderful experience and one we would gladly repeat. We couldn't fault it in any way and being so close to the night market made shopping very easy. It also seemed to be in a very safe and peaceful part of town.
Travel tip : People in Chaing Mai are lovely and friendly and very helpful. Thai people are warm and friendly overall, but somehow they are even moreso up here. The hotel is only a block from the night market so the location is superb if you are a shopaholic. Its also an easy venue from which to get to any of the temples and places of interest by Tuk Tuk (which cost a pittance and are very good value), especially if the driver speaks some English.

The hotel is a stone throw distance from the best bars, steak houses, Indian rest et all. 7/11 is bang opposite & even if you need a quite bit, Burger King/ McDonalds are a couple of minutes away. The room furniture is old (Superior/ Deluxe) & needs some change. The lift landing area on each floor carries a peculiar smell from the carpets..so I guess they need to replaced The hotel is right on the night bazaar strip. The hotel is 23 floors or something so it gives you great views of the Night Bazar, City, the pool, depending on what room you are in. The in room service is great & the food simply awesome. The Mailbu bar at the lobby level, boasts of some exotic cocktails & live music. The buffet breakfast is a la grande. 2 Thumps Up for the hotel!

good location because its in the center of Chiangmai and in the hotel have everything which is very convenience. the lobby should be in the first floor and the parking lot is too small and need to decorate new style because it's look old a little. everything is fine and very convenience because its in the center of Chiangmai but need to decorate the new style make it modern.

great location,beutiful and large room,good service. the centara is a great place to stay in chang may.the hotel is just a step from the nightlife and the night bazar.the hotel have a lovely pool and gym.we stay at the deluxe room and it was a large and comfortable.the hotel staff clean the room and change the towels every day

I would recommend this hotel for business men and tourists looking for a luxurious hotel to stay in while visiting Chiang Mai. The rooms are very comfortable and the service is good. The Hotel is very close to the night market and that is a nice plus for tourists wanting to enjoy it's atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is also good and diverse.
Shopping Tip : Visit the night market next to the hotel.

location, location, location!
breakfast the restaurant (for dinner) I was very pleased from the hotel, especially because of its location.
The breakfast was good and had variety of options. one thing that was missing is cheese (I prefer cheese in breakfast than rice or meat).
we left the hotel for 3 days for a trip in the area and the hotel offer us to keep our luggage so we wouldnt have to drag it during our trip.
we have a room for 3 (3 beds) and it was quit crowded.

Clean rooms. Well located close to town and to the night market. Very expensive internet (80 Baht 30 minutes) only available in portions of the hotel. The hotel is a good value for the money. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk from downtown and is right next to the night market. I was really disappointed at the absence of internet access in the room we rented and the high price (80b for 30 minutes). Fortunately, many of the restaurants in the area provide free wireless internet. The Chinese restaurant on the 24th floor is GREAT!
Restaurant Tip : Don't miss eating at least one meal in the Chinese Restaurant on the 24th floor!

The staff offered to upgrade myself and my friends to higher floor with an additional cost was worth it. With the add on facilities and usage of the executive floor, it sure make our stay and golf games even more enjoyable. Free internet and snacks that comes with the package is well worth the fees that we paid for. Hope to have the same offer if I do stay there next time.

The hotel has the best location, very close to the night bazaar, food, city center etc. and easy to go to shopping. We were at the Front desk staffs were not friendly and there was no bell boy, we needed to carry our luggage by ourselves. Lifts are extremely slow. Buffet breakfast not include. They said they upgrade our deluxe room to business type which is not look like business room actually, the room quite ok except 20 years used carpet. There was no toothbrush in the room. That’s not normal for deluxe or business room, we called to the reception they said they don’t have toothbrush in their stock. They rejected to buy for us. We have to go to 7-11 and buy by ourselves at midnight.
Shopping Tip : Just a few minute to shopping.

Room is adequately sized.
Value for money! The carpets are getting old. Free Wifi = pay to use. Bare in mind, outside is charging 40BAHT and some places in the less tourist popular areas - 10BAHT per hour!!! TV was a 17inch CRT. nothing special - BUT you pay for what you get! Holtel room furbishing is old, and looks like it needs rennovation soon. The price is of exceptional value! The rooms are adequately sized! Views are ok, but there's not many high rise buildings and mostly houses, so don't expect too much. Bathroom is big, with a adequate sized bathtub for 1, and a large shower.
The lobby is great! with a comfortable lounge and 3 restaurents inside. You can also opt to sit on the first floor looking down at the lobby.
Value was there! as I stayed in the standard room! Very cheap indeed! There is also a swimming pool and pool bar there on the 4th floor.
Free able TV - but should u be watching tv or going out? Night Bazaar is 2 min walk! but very repetitive! I advise you to go to the sunday market and Walking street. Walking street is only a available on saturdays nights!
Shopping Tip : Night market shopping - NIght Bazaar. Though very repetitive!
Bars - plently when u walk out of the hotel and turn left and keep walking! But ALOT of bar girls - if you dont like that - dont bother!
Restarents are on the right! Plentiful!
Near shopping center - Airport Plaza - Do NOT pay more than 100BAHT for tuk tuk. it may seem cheap - but dont wreck the market for others!!
