Great location excellent hotel and facilities

on arrival which was rather early at 8am due to the way we travelled across country by bus,i was expecting to have to wait for our room until later. but on checking in we were upgraded to a de-luxe room without any fuss. the room was large, clean and very comfortable.this was our first time in chiang mai and the hotel staff were very friendly in pointing us in the right direction for all the local attractions. overall an excellent hotel and would definately stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If like us we went on a minibus with 10 other people to chian rai to visit several attractions the journey was too long and very hazardous so choose carefully ,a full day is way to much (12 hours). In retrospect half day would be about right. One warning the roads up to Chiang rai through the mountains is very dangerous so take care.

we love this hotel , being right in the heart of the night bazaar. door step to shopping, and nightlife. but the hotel is old.good for family trip, no need to take taxi.

The Centara is conveniently located next to Chiangmai's night plaza. There are many local food stores and pubs nearby. A good selection for breakfast in the hotel but one can also enjoy local breakfast within short walking distance. The rooms are adequate and quite clean. Only complain is the small shower compartment.

Love the services!
Feel like home! Breakfast is very good with lots of varieties. Special Big thanks to staffs at breakfast, very kind, helpful and friendly every morning. Fitness center and pool area is wonderful and clean. Very convenient for shopping and eating out as the area is in the center or downtown night plaza. Live and Great fun at night time as well!

on arrival the 3 rooms booked online were not available and given to new arrivals. wanted double beds as booked and they were not available ..only twin beds. Rooms given were not very clean and seemed not have been used for days.
When rooms changed next day, these were fine.
However for such a large hotel there was no wifi in room and this had to be purchased at higher cost.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
outside hotel is taxi driver of 30 years who has worked at the hotel before and knows all the tourist routes.

the location of this hotel is perfectly located near the night bazaar! if your luckly, you will get the side with views of the mountains and of the cm skyline. the hotel rooms are a little dated, but it's all about location and a clean room/bed.
