great location, terrible hotel
5.3
The hotel is very tall, we stayed on the 17th floor and at times the elevator stopped at more than a dozen floors before it reached ours, the hotel is furnished with very old dirty green carpet which smelled and was sticky.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Request a room on one of the lower floors to avoid the elevators. Don't use the laundry directly opposite the hotel, they dyed all our white clothes pink and then claimed they were pink when we dropped them off.

near shopping center with good dinner at good price.

this hotel closed to shopping center called night barzar which very attractive for tourist who love to buy local product. you can be fun with very lovely price bargaining and also night life is still there for your discovery. buffet dinner at hotel restaurant is very reasonable price with variety kind and also good food.

super central
Easy access to the night market
7
friendly, efficient and very convenient location makes this a good choice to explore chiang mai from. maybe getting a little faded but nevertheless good.
Shopping Tip:
although near the night market there are better shopping possibilities just north of the city outside the old city walls. this is where many thais shop.

Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience, the staff were very informative and friendly, the food in the cafe and restaurant is reasonably priced and tastes great.
It is close enough to walk to the night markets and local sea food restaurants.
Inexpensive motorbike rental and travel agent just opposite of hotel in mainstreet. It was a great place to stay.

great location close to night market
spacious room with a view, good buffet breakfast
7.7
Wi fi in room didn't work and was expensive.
overall the room was spacious and sufficient amenities in the room, the only drawback was it's an old hotel and the curtains and carpet were a bit stuffy. but for the price and location and breakfast it was ok. however next time i would look around for a guest house because we really needed wifi at night and it didn't work easily if at all.
Travel tip:
Nice Mekong river cruise, boat to ourselves, did not bother stopping at Farmers market took one hour. After which we walked virtually next door to have High Tea at the Chedi which was a delightful treat.

goodlocation, old hotel, near hte night market, but very big and old hotel with not much atmosphere. the rooms were big and all necessary amenities were included except wifi didn't work and you had to pay for it. overall, we wouldn't stay here again, we would look for a smaller guesthouse with more ambience and wifi that worked.
Travel tip:
mekong river cruise followed by high tea at the chedi hotel is a nice day

Adequately equipped with staffs who can do their job. Good location as you can walk to practically every where and having the night bazaar down the street was a major plus. Also close to the local market and the Karen market was a big plus.
