Centara Duangtawan is located in a very good location close to Night market. You should pay attention to the rate whether inclusive breakfast when you make bookings. I had very pleasent time in Centara Duangtawan hotel. Originally they assign me a corner room and I talked with their front office staff that I prefer a normal size room, they were glad to help me to change to a normal room with good view. Also, their concierge staff is trustful, they can provide guest very useful info for sight seeing, and recommend us official appointed tour agency to book 1 day tour. I enjoyed my stay here.
Shopping Tip : very convient for shopping, their concierge staff can give us very good suggestions for tourist arrangement and recommend us trusted tour agency and taxi agency.

Location, spa, room, staff. This is a very good hotel located in the heart of the downtown market area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I especially like the facilities including the spa and pool which are clean and modern. The hotel is walking distance from most amenities and that is convenient as well. I would recommmend this hotel to anyone looking for value, location and convenience. There were some negatives but the positives far outweighted the negatives.

Close location to Night market. Breakfast is great large varied selection. Staff very attentive Great pool for cooling off after a days walking around Chiang Mai WiFi internet not available laptop most of the time we were there This is our 3rd visit to Centara Duangtawan and each time we have been very happy with the service of all of the staff this time we were particulary happy with Supakorn Sunanthachai? he looked after us at breakfast and was helpful in teaching us to expand our limited Thai language
We will certainly be back

Large spacious room in close proximity to many attractions. Thin walls with the adjoining room meant that conversations were easily overheard.
Stayed at the Centara hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed the hotel location and all the nearby attractions of this historical city. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was of a high standard and overall the facilities were excellent. The hotel is in close proximity to the ancient part of the city and right next to the night markets. Also only 15 minutes from the river.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Able to walk to many nearby attractions within 15 minutes. Markets, temples and the river

location; room is clean; staff is friendly. the internet is expensive and poor. Perfect location which is right in the night bazaar. It is about 10 minutes walking you could reach the sunday walking street. The room is clean and comfortable. Staff were generally nice and helpful. I Will recommend to anyone for that price. The breakfast is cost 320 baht per person which is quite costly.

close to shopping and bars could not fault the hotel The hotel Staff were pleasant and very helpful. The morning breakfast was good,plenty to chose from and met all your needs, the swimming pool was very clean and had a bar pool.
Ideal location for shopping,markets,and massages.
The room were very clean and the air conditioning could have operated a little bit better as it was only just confortable.

Hotel is very clean and spacious. Front desk officers cannot communicate in English very well.
Had to repeat a request a few times.
Usage of internet cost very expensive. Booking of the hotel through Agoda is very efficient and cost effective. Very happy to stay at Centara Duangtawan Chiangmai as the rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel is at a strategic location near shopping malls, nite bazaar as well as the airport thus making it very convenient for accessiblity. Enjoyed our stay there very much.
Shopping Tip : Near a variety of shops that can meet your basic needs.

Great location, friendly service and fine ammenities for the price. The only weakness in our visit was a lack of English speaking programming on the TV. We often vacation in Chiang Mai but usually go outside the city to the mountain getaways, which are beautiful. This time we decided to the city route and take in the large selection of markets, malls, restaurants, movies and history. This site is an ideal location for all of the above at a very affordable rate. This is in the heart of the tourist area and is bustling with city adventure.
Restaurant Tip : For Americans the Dukes has some of the best Ribs and menu offerings around.

best location. good facilities. no free Wifi. not so great buffet breakfast. we were there as a family and booked 2 rooms. asked for connecting rooms and were entertained on-the-spot. staff were polite and check in was hassle-free. location was great - right next to the night bazzar and close to other popular tourist spots (15-20 mins within walking distance)very good facilities - gym, pool, spa, restaurants, free shuttle to Central Shopping Complex, etc... overall good choice.
Travel tip : the food at the night bazzar food court was horrible and expensive. take a red taxi to Riverside Restaurant and you'll find a whole row of nice quality restaurants at reasonable price.

Location, room size, swimming pool, yoga classes Bathroom design and layout, room service food not amazing We stayed here for 2 nights and would most definitely stay again when we visit Chiang Mai. The hotel is centrally located, the staff polite and helpful, the rooms massive and the swimming pool really nice. You can also attend yoga and aerobic classes if you are staying at the hotel for free.

and mini bar also expensive. A great hotel to stay for your holiday in Chaing Mai, We paid for the first 2 nights, after staying the 2 nights we prefered to stay here untill the end of our holidays so we booked another 3 (breakfast inclusive). Breakfast was great which included a big buffet Breakfast very nice variety of food and juices, coffee & tea etc. The hotel was situated right in front of the night bazaare which was the night markets in Chaing Mai. At these markets you can buy everything and anything at a very cheap expense. The markets dont start untill 7pm.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Flight of the Gibbon was our most favourite attraction

none, maybe the rooms a bit dated Perefect location right in the night market and a very good three star hotel. Lovely pool that is not too busy, very helpful staff and a nice atmosphere around the place. The room was exceptionally large for a basic room if a little dated and a small shower but overall very happy and great value
