The location was excellent for Loi Kathong festival and Sight see the city.
We really enjoyed the hotel as it located at very convenient area and we walked around the most of the places on foot. The great view from the room window to see all fireworks.
Restaurant Tip : Left side of the hotel a block away is a nice internet cafe. the price is very reasonable.
right side of the hotel, nice japanese restaurant called Daruma.

The rooms are large, good location to night markets and walking street, clean and lovely. The foyer is grand!
Internet usage was very expensive.
The CM Plaza is a really lovely hotel, very quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately we went during the water festival, so there were constant fireworks all night! Internet use at the business centre was expensive - 50bht for 15 minutes, but other than that, we were very happy with the facilities. The entrance is spectacular, and the staff were very friendly. It is a great location - walking distance to night markets and also the local markets. Very clean, spacious rooms and a beautiful pool. Great breakfast -plenty of variety
Shopping Tip : Great location for shopping both local markets and night markets/walking street. Recommend the walking street for evening meals - plenty of variety to choose from. Watch out for the MaiTai cocktails - I had one only and was feeling quite drunk!

The front desk staff was friendly and accomodating what had happened us a day before.
We could not get on the scheduled flight to chiang mai from bangkok due to overbooking and missed the first nite there in Plaza hotel.
when we arrived on 01Nov am, the staff were very nice and took us to the room right away to let us rest in the early morning.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Nite bazzar and Maipin river is so close we could walk and visit.
