Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Clean and New. Wonderful staff. Nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. Very reasonable price! Friendly and helpful owners. Good location, right off the river. Close to the action, but not so close that it keeps you awake!

The three Australian fellows who have designed this hotel have not skimped on the small details. The Claremont has a nice rustic look, but nothing feels cheap or old. The staff are fantastic and friendly. Expect your room to look immaculate every time you return from the temples. Murray (one of the owners) was always hanging out playing pool and is more than happy to hand out free (unbiased) advice about the city. Jeff is also fantastic. There's a good chance you will end up keeping in touch with them when you return home... My expectations for a hotel in Southeast Asia, once falling like a rock, have been restored.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I was told that it was essential to get a guide for the temple tours. I'm not sure if that's true, especially if you want to see most of the temples in one day. I picked a Tuk-tuk off the street for $14 and he waited for me at each stop. A guide or guidebook will inevitably slow you down, though it is of course interesting to hear the history of the Angkor period.

Good location. Good view.

Service, room, food

I went to the hotel on 31th Dec, I have booked the rooms via AGODA. But when I arrived the hotel, the reception seemed unknow and lost the document of booking. So they took my print of booking. The dinner on that night doesn't well enough for 600Bath/person. The rooms are aged and smelly!! ABF is so little. Mostly the service is like "self-serve".

Took ages for them to sort out my room after check-in. Location is not too good. Nothing around the hotel except a small night market. Will need tuk tuk or taxi to get to city.

Clean and tidy room with facilities of an average Hotel. Good value for money.

The rooms are a bit cold in the cooling night.

Newly renovated lobby and restaurant with a small pool and a small fitness centre. The rooms are a bit old but very clean and tidy. It is located near the Lanna Muay Thai Boxing Camp. Those of you thinking of learning Muay Thai there, can really consider to stay here. Situated on the busy Huay Kaew Road, but no really interesting place to shop. A couple of good restaurants down the road though, especially the very popular Japanese restaurant Tsunami.

Travel tip : Near the Lanna Muay Thai Boxing Camp which is a great camp for learning Muay Thai for both beginners and pro fighters.

Ok place to stay- a step above many guest houses. Pleasant staff. Room was nice.

Under construction. Very noisy in the morning. Breakfast not much to speak of- Cooked early in the morning and left out till runs out. Then finished. They hold meetings during the day making parking one's car impossible and even hard to get your car out. Location is close to one mall- maybe a kilometer but most everything else is a taxi ride away.

If you are looking for a place to park and stay next to the pool or in your room this is a nice place. Had most amenities in room. If you have your own transportation the location is not friendly. Requiring uturns and very congested traffic. Food was edible but not appealing to eat. Room service meal was average thai street vendor quality.

There aren't any convenient store nearby so you should buy things from other places before getting into the hotel.
