Great location if you like to stay in the city

Huge and good bathroom, plenty of natural light during the day, friendly staff
8.3
Arrived a couple of hours early and checking in early was no problem very fast and efficient plus my room was already ready. Got the Grand Deluxe located on the top floor. View was good and first impression of room is its huge, but not too big. Bathroom is large and spacious with separate bath and shower area. The bathroom was warmer due to so much natural light coming through the windows but this isn't a problem at all and actually very pleasant to have during the day rather than being confined in a semi dark room. Breakfast is adequate nothing special but one good thing is they will make certain items to order rather than relying on what is left in precooked heated trays. Did order room service once - menu is extensive and doesn't taste too bad but preferred to eat out at the wide choice available elsewhere in Chiang Mai and outside of Chiang Mai city. Nice pool, has a spa / massage in the basement as well as another one of the same franchise elsewhere. Didn't use the services though. Friendly staff, would stay again but next time maybe not as a solo traveller.

Nice clean room, friendly staffs

my room was bigger than expected, hotel is around 10 min walk to the night market

The hotel location is just right, about a block away from the main traffic, yet it's very quite. I enjoy a late afternoon walk to the market and visit the friendly local resturant. I could have give a high 4 but we found a few mosquito in our room and that cost them a point or two.

Good location

Near Sunday walking street and temples

this hotel is beautifully decorated and is conveniently located. the rooms are beautiful and clean. brekfast choices are limited though. the spa in the basement is a great idea after a long day trip or walking street shopping. hotel receptions are friendly and helpful. parking might be an issue to many guests with cars.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Temples, night bazarr, bars and pubs, including sunday walking street are nearby the hotel. Great location!

Lovely Hotel

Very quiet place and nice room with reasonable good breakfast.

The room is comfortable and clean with lots of power socket outlets. Going to the night Bazzar market is more than 20mins walk but on sunday there is a make shift night bazzar out on the main road. And it is within walking distance to the old city.

good hotel with very nice rooms and good staff

close to all the central attractions in a quiet area

i was only there for a couple of nights but enjoyed my stay the hotel and room were not only aesthetic but comfortable and it was quite a pleasant experience breakfast was fresh and well presented the staff were well presented and friendly so if your looking for a small boutique hotel away from the noise and busy roads but within walking distance to the main attractions at a reasonable cost i would recommend this one.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: you are within walking distance to the old city or in the other direction the markets close to bars and massage if you enjoy that for me it was nice to enjoy the short walks to the main attraction and then enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings

Newer small hotel on quiet side street

Near to Night Market and the main streets in town Pleasant staff Adequate small restaurant with breakfast included Large room with ‘canopy’ bed that was comfortable On quiet side street Free WiFi that worked well
8.3
Cons: Open design with hallways just outside the room doors that mosquitoes could access Quiet side street was quite dark and a little scary when we arrived after dark the first night We arrived in Chiang Mai late on a KoreanAir plane from Seoul. We took a taxi to the hotel, I don’t think that we could have found it on our own. The hotel was way down a small side street that was narrow and dark. It was a little bit scary but when we saw the street in the daylight the next morning, it appeared safe. There are a number of rather large guesthouses on the the same street. We had breakfast in the hotel dining room each morning. The buffet was essentially the same each day. It was small but adequate. We also ate one other meal there which was good. The room was comfortable and restful. A safe was provided in the room. There was a sliding wall that allowed the bathroom to be opened up to the bedroom. Personally I’m not sure why one would want to do that but one could. Robes and slippers were provided as frequently the case in Asian hotels. We would probably consider staying here again on another trip because of the convenient location although we might also try someplace different. I did feel that we got the value for our money.

the restaurant staff were no friendly and we were turned away from breakfast as we used the room clock which was not set at the correct time and was one hour out,we were ten minutes late but treated very poorly. i immediately asked to see the manager at reception and was told that we could have breakfast which after what happened we declined. the managers was very nice apologized for the staff offered us a complimentary upgrade which we declined as we were only staying two nights and our room was very nice. then they arranged for a free transfer from the hotel to the airport which was extremely nice of them, the airport is only fifteen minutes from the hotel so location is excellent. i definitely would stay again!
Travel tip: never catch the train from Bangkok to Chang Mai took us fourteen hours the air-conditioning was broken and the food suitable for prisoners only very poor never do it
