Such a charming place to stay. The reception staff were polite, professional and cheerful without exception. The décor is a pleasant blend of local traditional and contemporary northern Thailand. Rooms were spotless but oh so small.

Central but quiet location
Quiet and large room, pleasant staff, very comfortable bed

Over all a good experience - large and comfortable room and very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was ordinary but OK, and quite a few mosquitoes in the room that were hard to find because of the high ceilings. There's a small pool but no gym.

Tranquility, comfort and quiet elegance

Had a wonderful few days in the De Chai hotel. I ordered a deluxe room which was extremely comfortable and very elegant. A lot of thought had been given to the layout and finishings of the room. I travel for work all the time and spend dozens of nights every year in 5 star hotels, mostly in Europe. I found this hotel to be a perfect holiday hotel. It was as comfortable as any 5 star I'd been to but it was more understated and elegant than a business hotel, quiet and relaxing and I felt very much on holiday. The deluxe room was gorgeous and very good value.
