lovely mid range hotel.

Having read reviews that the hotel was shabby I was pleasantly surprised to find it in very nice condition. We had room 204 overlooking the pool and gardens which was beautiful. We had a few light bulbs out but maintenance were very prompt in replacing them. The breakfast was basic but had fruit and yoghurt and fresh tea, plus asian and the usual cold buffet, but enough to get you started. Reception spoke good English. 2 negatives but not enough to spoil oir stay- internet was very hit and miss, we had to sit on the balcony or in the garden to get online. The bedroom has a raised wooden platfrom with the beds on and I fell over into it during the night in the dark, looks nice but not a practical design. I would definately stay here again. Very close to the Sunday market which is amazing.

Hotel that is close to Walking Street
Location to the Sunday Walking Street, Price is affordable

Stayed here the longest (3 nites). It's an ok place to stay as it is close to the Sunday Walking Market. However if you want to be near the bars and nightlife then its a fair walk away. But I think CM's bars are nothing special. This place you can walk to see all the famous temples (Wats) which is really a lot and all of them are unique. However at night walking out can be quite scary if you are afraid of the dark. Overall a pretty good hotel to stay in.

Unfriendly Staff; Won't Stay Again

Some of the staffs were not friendly at all and irresponsible. They did not want to answer questions like how to get around the town. The water pressure was terribly weak and the water temperature was sometimes cold and hot, and be careful to get burned by hot water. My room did not have a real patio. However, the room is clean.
