Great hotel. I would stay there again. It is very nicely decorated,the rroms are comfortable, the pool is very plaisant.It has a good position and you can just walk to the main attractions(temples and markets)

Wow...a very nice 4 stars boutique hotel at a very reasonable price. Within walking distant to the two popular streets for bars and the night bazaars. You can get good decent meals at relatively cheap price around the area though the best value (cheap and good) would be the roadside stores if you dare to try. I will definitely come back to the hotel and recommend them to my friends and families.

I found the De Naga botique hotel an excellent choice for some where to stay in Chang Mai. The hotel has a warm and wellcoming atmosphere as soon as you enter the lobby area. The staff are excellent and very polite and well informed about the activities in the area. I must say that the service you receive as a guest is more than worthy of a five star hotel. The breakfast is excellent not to mention the complimentary mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the restaurants and the main shopping areas. The De Naga is the best example of how to run a good hotel and how to keep your guest happy and comfortable.

Wonderful
De Naga is in a good location and has an absolutely fantastic staff.

On arrival the receptionists and staff were all smiles. They were always helpful and looking for ways to make our stay more pleasant. Prices are very reasonable, WiFi is included and works without problems. Breakfast was good too. The receptionists were able to make suggestions and even organize trips and transportation. De Naga was the best place we stayed at during our trip to Thailand. It will be the only place I stay the next time I am in Chiang Mai.

This is a great hotel for the money (ie. more expensive than backpacker places but cheaper than most high-end places). Clean, comfortable rooms (with a good shower), friendly staff, good service, good location (in the old town but walking distance to the night market), and quite stylish (semi-modern Lanna style with lots of nagas, wood and Thai silk). I highly recommend it. It also has a small pool to cool off in after walking around all day.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tuk-tuks are a great way to get around in the city but don't take them out of town to elephant camps, factory outlets etc. They are very slow, especially on hills, and you end up breathing in a lot of fumes. The red "songthaews" are a better way to get around for long trips.

The included breakfast is delicious and Jimmy, the breakfast manager is very helpful and kind.
Travel tip:
Use your air conditioning controller because it can get cold easily. No problem since you have the control.

Nice hotel

If you walk on the road around the moat, you can see De Naga's logo on several locations, so it is very easy to find this nice hotel. If you arrived early, the staff will let you check in if the room is available (we checked in at 9 AM). Except the swimming pool cannot be used, other things are great!

Thai style in contemporary design

The hotel is decorated in a modern take on traditional Thai style. The naga theme is recurrent throughout. To my surprise, when I checked in it was clear the hotel noticed I had stayed there before.
Travel tip:
The hotel is near Ta Pae gate, which is not only a good landmark for finding it but also a great location if you want the be at the center of the city's activity.

De Naga - a wonderful Hotel

We spent five nights in the De Naga Hotel. The hotel was wonderful, I would go there on my next visit to Chiang Mai! Great location, walking distance to the Night Market and the Weekendmarket. The staff is very nice and all of them are so helpful. Pool was closed because of contruction work.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Patara Elephant Farm. Elephant owner for a day was a unforgttable experience.
