Old room, not so good location, high price
Nice lobby and garden
The picture shown here looks too good compare to the actual room. The room is old and need refreshing. For this price, i expect a real boutique with nice clean bed. But the room is like a standard apartment. Location is in the old city with to get to the sunday walking street, it takes quite some time. only thing that looks nice for this hotel is the lobby and garden, it's exactly like what appear in the gallery, but it's the least thing i use in this hotel. overall, if the price is halved, it'll be reasonable.

Good Location and great ambiance
Gardens, free breakfast, location good, pool, free wifi
Friendly service with hotel guest services at the ready. There was an adequate in house restaurant available. Transportation was right in front of hotel. Rooms needed some maintenance but were lovely. Breakfast was given with room price as well. In house spa was available and lovely as well. I'd stay again. Location was great.

Convenient location and lovely design concept
convenient, cheap, spacious rooms, food ok
This is a very convenient place to stay if you plan to tour around Chiang Mai particularly their old city. The old temples are located within the old city where this hotel is located. It is as well a walking distance to the Sunday Market where you can bargain for cheap stuff. The hotel has its own transportation which you can arrange for transfer to and fro the airport. They also have a desk for tour packages (however we don't know whether that they have reasonable price as we have our tours book before we came). They also have their own spa. Two small rooms with own toilet. Unfortunately, men and woman are separated. So my husband and I were not together. I suggest they should have a couple room, atleast we can talk while having our massage. As for the room, i really liked it very much. The room is spacious and the colour is pleasant (our room was apple green). From what I understand, each room has a different colour as they are a boutique hotel. But we were not able to choose also as we were booking it online. For the food, they have a free breakfast but you cannot order any food after breakfast as their kitchen closes. But not a problem, you just have to step outside and you can find all the food you need. It is very convenient. It very near to a wet market also. For us, we didn't stay much also in the hotel as we have booked tour packages also. So we usually leave after breakfast and come back after dinner.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor chiang mai
goed, deftig en proper hotel. de kamers zijn klein, maar goed onderhouden. het personeel is engelstalig, professioneel en behulpzaam. zou er zeker terugkeren.

Great location
Excellent location and pleasant garden setting
Yhis hotel is in an excellent location, however, it is dire need of a sprucing up. The rooms are clean but quite small. The swimming pool requires repairs (the plastic membrane on the bottom of the pool has come adrift from the floor). The swimming pool area is poorly serviced (the pool towels were not being adequately restocked for guests). For reasons not explained to me when i checked-in, the Violet restaurant was not open at all during my 2 week stay. The breakfast was extremely basic and there were insect crawling across the breakfast buffet table. The reception and breakfast service staff seem jaded, lacking enthusiasm and the signature smile that i usually expect from hotel staff in Thailand. Overall, a disappointing experience.

nice location and great service
convenience and closeness to everything
it is well located near all the shops and street food everything was so close and it was good to explore all the local streets and back ways. advised to bring lots of mosquito repelant as they do not give you any.

Great Location but room basic and bathroom tired
Within walking distance of all activities
checkin seemed okay, with staff helpful. but room was win bedded junior suite, - suprised, they wouldnt change for double bedded when i asked, - so zero points for flexibility. the travel desk was helpful (when manned), but getting it manned seemed a bit hit and miss. previous comments on the sparsity of the breakfast buffet are ungrounded, unless you are a 120 kg american tourist i think you'll find the buffet breakfast adequatte, although some bacon would be nice! the checkout facility was miserable at best. given departure flights are primarily 7am, checkout desk is manned with only one (junior and miserable) satff member, who will insist on doing a mini bar check even though the mini bar is sparse to say the least. we left more in the mini bar than when we arrived, having stocked it with wine and beer and foodstuffs, so took offense when he wouldnt believe us that we hadnt consumed anything, and while isnsistingw e were about to miss our flight having waited in checkout queue for 10 minutes at 6 am, i eventually left a baht 200 "deposit" against any consumables that ii already knew i hadnt consumed. (guess i'll never see that baht 200 again huh?). so, would i go there again?, - sad to say "not" because of the attitude of the checkout guy, and believe me, theer are many other better places close by.

Beautiful Hotel for a Relaxing Stay
Great location, pool with lounge chairs
I would've stayed longer at this hotel, but the rooms were booked out the following night. The beds are comfortable and the deluxe rooms have a mini-fridge. The shower pressure is the best I've had in Thailand, with decent size bathtubs. I was very comfortable at this hotel--good value, great location. The breakfast buffet was just okay, but there's many good eating options nearby (Blue Diamond is our favorite). Also, it would be nice if the rooms had reading lights above the bed. I also recommend the La Mer Hostel, partners with Eurana, if you are on more of a strict budget. If you stay at La Mer, you get to use the Eurana pool for 100 baht/person/day.

Very nice and friendly
Room, Pool and Staff
Rooms: Were very clean and had a bit of character about them which made it a nice place to be. A little bit smaller than other hotel rooms we have stayed in but still enough room, besides, we were out most of the time exploring Chiang Mai. Bed was comfortable, shower/taps had good pressure, safe provided, wifi was poor but we managed elsewhere in Chiang Mai. Rooms were very well secluded from the streets therefore barely any noise. Pool: Pool was a bit small but it was clean and towels were provided. Approx 10-15 sun loungers, showers, toilets all in close proximity. Staff were very helpful and dressed in uniform. Location: This hotel is located on the north-eastern corner of the square of the old city. My wife and I found it a great spot for Eastern nightlife (bars, resturants and night bazaar market). Loved this hotel and Chiang Mai and would go back in a heartbeat. We were so satisfied, we booked more nights stay here when we arrived.

charming hotel, worth the name of boutique....
hotel location, lobby, the boutique style of hotel decoration, breakfast
when checkingin, hotel offered a nice welcome drinks, very yummy. hotel has a good location, easy to get around in old city, breakfast is ok, worth the money we deposit safe is old even partly broken, room deco is not good enough, but in light of the hotel room rate, it is acceptable to me....
