The excellent service-minded staff, high quality restaurant, good organisation and maintenance, wonderful cottages, peaceful surroundings,
Not for party-hard-youngsters, which actually is a positive remark.
This oasis among resorts should really be renamed from Eurasia to Euforia, cause that's what you experience at this hotel. Wonderful place, calm and relaxing, in a beautiful stonewall-framed area. The cottages are embedded in a huge garden with a hotel-building attached next to the cottage-area. The pool with a complementary jacuzzi part, is adoring. The breakfast is splendid, the staff willing to help you at their outmost capability. This is the perfect place for middle-aged or elderly people, families with older children, businesspeople and those interested in exploring. Easy and free parking within the area. Laundry-service, Mini bar, wifi, air-condition, waterboiler, shower and bathtub, Tv, restaurant, free shuttle-bus to and from Imperial hotel in the central Chiangmai.
Most night's some kind of event with music and/or dance involved. fair Tuk-Tuk's just outside old entrance. Carrefour, Makro, Seven-eleven within walking distance. This is our second stay and we will definitely come back!
Travel tip : Take a trip with A-nek, a tuk-tuk driver that really cares about his costumers needs. Worth every Bath you pay. Very fair.
Black Canyon Coffee at Carrefour, excellent food, Makro cheap buy! Sunday night market a must! Excellent temples.

Smaller hotel away from the city bustle. Stayed in a bungalow that was nice, that needs some refurbishing as the hotel is older. Front desk very helpful along with everyone who works there. Breakfast is average with a minimum of selections, try the omelet.
The hotel is very hard to find and away from almost everything which adds to the tuktuk and taxi charges. The noise from the restaurant band can be heard until late and disturbs the quiet setting.
This is an older hotel located away from the city and close to the expressway loop around the city on the east side. The hotel provides a free van to take you almost to the night market, about 2 blocks away, at the Imperial Hotel. Hotel is mostly occupied by retirees that are friendly and easy to chat with. Gardens around the bungalow are well maintained but the parking areas are too small for most newer vehicles.
Shopping Tip : Large markets such as Micro and Carrefour are across the highway but you need either a car or a taxi to get there. No local restaurants to walk to.

Lovely, quiet garden setting. The cottages are quite nice for a peaceful private get away.
This is a lovely place to stay if you want to get away, but if you want to see more in the city, it is not the most convenient place to stay. The shuttle runs hourly, and you have to schedule your pick up and return, so it puts a cramp in your plans should you want to return quickly or stay longer in town. There are not any other dining options near the hotel.
