Choose Your Room Carefully.
8.3
Booked the studio which advertises two rooms totaling 64sqm. When I got there, the rooms were so small I actually measured them - two dark, tiny 18sqm rooms (tombs!). Nothing like the photos on Agoda. After some vociferous complaint I was moved to a Superior Room, which was about 45sqm, and which was bright and pleasant. DON'T GET THE STUDIO ROOMS!
This hotel was remarkably clean, and the linens were crisp and mildly scented each day. The rooms had good amenities and the breakfast was fine and fresh. The swimming pool, though small, was also very clean and very refreshing after the Chiang Mai heat.
The location is just a bit far from the city center and the night market, necessitating tuk-tuks or longish walks.
Restaurant Tip:
Find the restaurant named "W" on Chiang Moi Road, Soi 2. Fabulous Thai food in a wonderful setting and reasonable wine prices!

Great location, a value for money hotel
7.7
The hotel is very accessible (by foot or taxi) to central Chiang Mai. Rooms are basic, and have everything you require. Friendly staff. And for the price, you can't go wrong!

Excellent hotel close to the old city
Spacious rooms, clean and with helpful friendly staff.

an excellent hotel close to the old city and with easy access to the tourist areas. rooms were very spacious and immaculately clean. the staff were always helpful and friendly. i was pleasantly suprised and the moderate price charged. it was little more than the price of a lot of the guest houses for a good quality full hotel.

Nice hotel Has the basics right
Rooms big and clean - a short 15 min walk to Thapae Gate
6.3
quiet area of town away from the noise and hussle and bussel.
Room was fine - no major frills - maybe even too big
Was under the impression there would be a balcony but instead a window.. if a balconey is important for you check again that you have one.
Breakfast basic but ok

this is the second time we stayed at the hotel. it is well located allowing a short walk to the night bazaar and weekend markets.
the only fault was the breakfast, always cold. the eggs were always cold, even at 6.30
