4 Star hotel with 3 Star price.
I stayed at Holiday Inn Chiang Mai for 2 nights every thing is ok. Location is good it next to Ping river and not too far from city center and 7-11 is near by. Good Staffs, they alway helpful. Room is in very good condition, very nice view and every thing in room is working. Breakfast is ok have alot of menu to pick and view of Ping river in the morning is very nice. bad thing is no free internet you have to pay for 150 baht for 1.5 hrs. Total score for Holiday Inn Chiang Mai is 8 out of 10. Price is very cheap compare with what you get.

Fantastic service, great breakfast, large rooms. Great street food nearby.
Some rooms need renovating. Location - need tuk tuk to get anywhere. Hotel restaurant seriously overpriced.
I always stay at the holiday inn because for the price, this is the best hotel in Chiang Mai. To get breakfast better than this, you have to go to the D2, Meridien, Chedi and pay 4-5k / night. Service is impeccable, one of the few truly professional places in CM. 5 star service. The rooms are comfortable and large, some need renovating, it's standard hotel fare otherwise. Avoid the restaurant - it's standard Thai food except at 5 - 10 times the fair price.
Restaurant Tip : Head outside the hotel for some great street food near the 7-11, and even more great street food about 5 minutes up the road past 7-11 (near the market).

Good breakfast with very delicious food .
extra bed too small & uncomfortable for sleep.
I m feel very comfortable stay in Holiday inn hotel with a very big bed room . This just only taken abt 10 min from airport to hostel and not need worry about the traffic jam .
And good breakfast provided & good view too .
Hotel staff very friendly & helpful.
Shopping Tip : There have one big shopping mall - centre airport shopping center , can take the free Tutu provide by hostel go for shopping . And just near by the hostel ,there have a very big night market and this only on the every Saturday & Sunday from 6pm - 11pm . Can go by Tutu with abt 10min .
