I stayed two times , first I liked it but last time I did not like it coz when I checked in , it was not welcomed and not friendly. By the way, some of them are nice and smiled.

Restaurant Tip:
I'll reiterate the tip I found here - go eat at the Swan - excellent Burmese food and hands down best meal I've had in Asia. North of Tha Phae Gate, just on the other side of the moat from the Old City, next to the Burritos and Burgers place. (Burgers, Burritos, Burmese - in that order)

The location is great - just a few minutes walk to the Market street, cafes, pharmacy, place to buy stamps/postcards, and we could also easily walk to all the Old City Temples noted in guidebooks. Had a little issue with temp consistency in the shower, but otherwise, room was everything I could have wanted for the price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the best travel agents I've used in Asia or elsewhere. He is friendly and very helpful, speaks excellent English, is honest, gives best prices (we checked at 3 other places before going with him), and even helped us arrange payment for a tour that he received no commission on. All around good guy and trustworthy.

Situated at a good location where Sunday night market is. For the price I booked online, I'm surprised by the standard the hotel has.
Clean room and has enough space in the room. The toilet is a little small, but I have been to even smaller toilet so I find it ok, for the price that I paid.
We were warned by the hotel staff that we were not allowed to smoke in the room and they even threaten us that they will report to the authority and we will get fine of 2000baht. I think it is unnecessary to "Threathen" your guest for this. A gentle reminder will most likely does the trick.
There is a Starbucks opposite the road. Money changer and tour company by the sides of the hotel. We used the tour service and think it is ok.
Overall, I will stay here again.

Lovely Hotel Near to Night Bazzar

The hotel room is spacious but the size of the toilet can be bigger. The location of the hotel is very good and near to the weekend night bazzars and many nice eateries. Very easy to get a taxi or transport from here to everywhere else. Wifi speed is fine but can be better if not required to log every single time.
