this hotel located right in front of tha pae gate.so i can easily find a taxi or tuk tuk...room not small,and very clean,but in the night will be a little noisy...

Lovely place to stay, but noisey with traffic

we found it to be a very obligeing and courtious hotel to stay in, the security gaurd for most of the time was with out a doubt the greatest! he was so good at organizing the parking, checking out people who he had not seen before, and was so friendly to us, always happy to see me,
the food was ok at the resturant, breakfast was ok too but not extrodinary , hard for asians to cook western foods! as is hard for weasterners to cook thai foods.
overal value for money , i will be staying ther again, mai pen rai. william g weekes

Good location hotel, Nice Security staff
easy to walk to tha phae walking street on weekend, near fast food restaurant & coffee shop

good location hotel with reasonable rate. hotel staffs & security staffs are very nice & good taking care of customer. if you wanna find a good location hotel in the center of chiang mai town with small budget, hotel m chiang mai is your choice!
but the breakfast is not worth for additional fee because the food is not variety and the taste is tepid. you can find some delicious breakfast from the restaurant in town by walking or take a taxi.
Shopping Tip:
You will enjoy to shop handmade product, decoration product, antique & gift on Tha Phae walking street on every Sunday around 6.00 - 10.30 pm.

Great location for the Sunday Market, getting around as its on the main road, opposite the gate so you can go for walks and see the sights. Many shops, bars and restaurants around. Everything is in throwing distance. Super! My wife and I especially enjoyed to complimentary breakfast with the full works. So much choice. The travel agency inside is a little over priced but there are so many around you don't need to rely on that exact one.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
1 day trek to fit everything in and feel like you have escaped the city.

Brilliant Location and outstanding hotel

yet again agoda did not let us down. my wife and i stayed here for 3 nights and my daughter also stayed for 2. the hotel from the outside looking up does not do it justice. all three of us loved the hotel and would go back if we return. the free breakfast is brilliant and has a wide selection, served in a very nice and modern restaurant, attached to the hotel. the room had good english tv and beautiful deco. very modern hotel with the comfort factor. the only let down was that it did not have a pool. but you can't have it all i suppose!

location was excellent, you can walk to most of the markets. our room was facing the main street 3rd floor and it was noisy. don't expect too much of hot water. everything else was good especially for the price.

this hotel is right at night time markets.the hotel is a little dated and the buffet breakfast was reasonable but sometimes cold.there are car and motorbike hire companies next door and the rooms are quiet.location is unbeatable.
Restaurant Tip:
there is a coffee shop across the road that sells great meals at a cheap price
